Additional Information
During the afternoon part of your safari, you will discover the true desert of Abu Dhabi. After an exciting drive over the sand dunes, we will visit a camel farm and watch the sunset from the dunes.
Our journey will continue until we reach our camp, and there you will have the opportunity to try a host of activities like henna painting, belly dancing, Shisha, and coffee significant to Bedouin culture.
After sunset, a BBQ dinner will be served under the starlit sky, with live entertainment to ensure you have a night to remember. You will also be treated to traditional Arabic hospitality, with Arabic coffee and dates served as they have been for centuries and continue to be served in Emirati homes today.

Awesome Safari - It was an amazing experience and our tour guide Basith was very friendly and helpful and had a nice attitude. The dune rides were fun and took lots of amazing pictures

Fantastic experience - Beautiful experience thanks to the guide we had, kind and very nice! we did the Safari on the dunes which was crazy, the camel ride, lots of photos in different places in the desert and finally dinner with various shows in the village! Super recommended!

An afternoon of fun experiencing the desert for the first time - This was my first trip to Abu Dhabi and the Middle East and so I wanted to experience sand dunes and the desert landscape, and this tour did not disappoint.
Ashraf was our guide and he was sweet and helpful and took great care of us. I went by myself but was glad to be with a group, there were 6 of us plus our guide.
It was about a 45 minute drive to the dunes from the city and I’d say definitely go in the winter because the weather was perfect. Not too cold, not too hot (I went in late Feb) and it was about 70-75 degrees F (20-21C?).
The tour was a great way to check off a lot of must-dos at once—riding through the sand dunes, trying my hand at sandboarding, riding a camel, getting a henna tattoo, sitting on pillows while eating delicious barbecue and watching a live show. It was all as advertised. A great sampling.
I’d definitely recommend the tour and our guide Ashraf, especially for people who haven’t experienced the desert before and/or don’t have a lot of time to explore.
