Sheikh Zayed’s vision for the Grand Mosque was to incorporate architectural styles from different Muslim civilizations and celebrate cultural diversity by creating a haven that is truly diverse and inspirational in its foundation. The mosque’s architects were British, Italian and Emirati, and design inspiration was borrowed parts of Turkey, Morocco, Pakistan, and Egypt among other Islamic countries, revealing a glistening architectural marvel with an astonishing capacity of 40,000 worshippers and visitors.
The open-door policy invites tourists and celebrants from all around the world who can witness the spectacular onion-top domes, the reflective pools that engulf the courtyard and the iconic prayer hall, which not only overflows with blissful sunlight but also houses the world’s biggest chandelier and carpet, both meticulously handmade. Be sure to spot the calligraphy encircling the hollows of the domes, etched with verses from the Quran and painted with gold leaves in An-Naskh lettering.

An informative, relaxed and fun tour of Abu Dhabi - My tour guide, Ansar was excellent and told me a lot about each of the landmarks we visited. He made the tour informative and fun.

Ansar was absolutely awesome - Ansar was absolutely awesome. He gave us so much information about the city and the buildings. All places he took us too was breath taking beautiful. We had enough time to explore and take photos at every stop. We went earlier in the morning which helped being less crowded. He is very friendly and patient. Will definitely recommend him for your next tour.

A short and sweet trip to get to understand Abu Dhabi better especially for tourists who came for the transit purposes. - Ansar the tour guide was punctual and knowledgeable. He helps to take good photos. The tour was small and there were only 3 of us.

Do it now! - This was a saving grace experience! I was suppose to original go with a different group that was offered by Emirates Experience, but the excursion was cancelled the morning of. This company swooped in and saved the day! I was able to book and just a couple of hours later, my hotel phone ringed and they were downstairs waiting for me! Had a wonderful solo experience at the Mosque and bought some delicious chocolate to bring home. 10/10 experience! You must go!

100 percent recommend with ansar the driver - Very informative and knowledgeable! I loved the access to mosque! Pacing was perfect! Highly recommend! I had ansar the driver and he was great!

The tour was good. Our... - The tour was good. Our guide was nice and knowledgeable. I'm giving it a 4 star because the mandarin hotel felt rushed and last stop (date market) was literally going to one shop instead of walking around like the tour description.
