- Falls of Feugh - Where the Feugh tributary joins the river Dee near Banchory, the waters rushed over a jumble of boulders and rock steps to form an attractive set of cascading rapids with an old stone road bridge over the top. These are the Falls of Feugh, and while not particularly high, they’re a popular beauty spot for locals and Aberdonians alike.
The falls have a reputation for being an ideal spot to watch salmon running upstream. During autumn and after heavy rain is usually the best time, but of course there are no guarantees!

Excellent Tour and Guide - We enjoyed a fabulous day on this trip. Our guide Alex was wonderful! He provided wonderful details and managed to accommodate everyone's needs/interests. I highly recommend this tour!

A wonderful day out - A wonderful day out with Alex as our guide. We were blessed with dry weather so that all of the stops could be fully enjoyed. There was just the right amount of time in each spot and the little treats along the way were very welcome. Transport is in a 8-seater vehicle which can get about the countryside very effectively. Highlights were the Fettercairn distillery, Stonehaven and Dunnottar castle. A lovely day seeing the sights - highly recommended.

Excellent Aberdeenshire Experience - This was an excellent experience, especially for the price. Jacqueline was a wonderful guide to Aberdeenshire! Dunnottar Castle was the highlight for me, though I also enjoyed the distillery tour & tasting even though I’m not a scotch drinker.
This was my favorite tour and the best value that I have booked through Viator.
I thoroughly recommend.

Very nice taste of Aberdeenshire - It was a perfect time thanks to our tour guide, Mr. Alex. He was great- took care about us, gave us a lot of interesting info during the whole trip and fulfilling our wishes. And provide us with some delicious snacks of local origin.

Very nice experience - Guide was friendly and knowledgable. The views was amazing, espesially the castle and overlook of Stonehaven. It was a nice touch with the small stops and tasting of different food. The tour of the distillery was great as well. A great way to experience the beauty of Scotland!
