Aberdeen beach - Aberdeen is “The Silver City by the Golden Sands”, or so the old tourist brochures used to say. We are very lucky to have a beautiful and vibrant beach and leisure area just a stone’s throw from the city centre. We will start with our day with a visit to the village of Fittie. Built in the early 1800’s as a fishing community and discover the maritime heritage in Aberdeen and one of the iconic industries in our past.
With a long sandy beach and access to the beach promenade, it is an ideal location for watching the ships come into harbour, spotting the dolphins and sea birds as well as enjoy a breath of breezy North Sea air.

A Phenomenal Tour! - This tour was phenomenal! Jacqueline was my favorite tour host I've met on my travels in Scotland so far. She was friendly, well informed, and gave a relaxing and phenomenal tour experience. The foods we got to try were great and I would recommend this tour to anyone staying or living in the area. Taste of Scotland tour -highly recommended - A perfect day out with our fab guide Jacqueline. We enjoyed the information provided and all the sites. We had just the right amount of time at each spot. Jacqueline provided some lovely snacks and was so kind to everyone. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Aberdeen.

Worth the money! - We especially liked the addition of the food tasting to the whole experience. I would definitely recommend this tour as it includes such a great variety of locations. The guide was very knowledgeable and did not rush us through the different events.

Fabulous experience! - Jacqueline was extremely knowledgeable and provided a first class tour. We had several different stops, a variety of tastings and an overall great experience. It was as relaxing as it was informative. I would highly recommend this tour t anyone!

Terrific day - I loved that Jacqueline still has this tour although I was the only booking for the day- I had the whole van and her to myself! We did a whisky distillery (I paid for entry and took excellent tour/tasting here), an ancient castle tour - Jacqueline was my tour guide here with great ability to take you back in time and architecture, a great pub lunch on your own and a more “modern “ ancient castle tour that I paid for guided. A bonus on the way home was a stop to see a stone circle!
I was offered fresh local items to taste in the van between stops while we were on the road- it really is a taste of Scotland! I highly recommend this trip!
