• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been found, but the site has not been excavated.

• Pyramid of Menkaure - Menkaure’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple.

• Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple yielded several statues of Khafre, some of which were found in a well in the temple floor by Mariette in 1860.

• Great Sphinx - Here, you will also get a close-up view of the Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren.

• Pyramids of Dahshour - Visit the Dahshur Pyramids (Bent and Red Pyramids). The Dahshur area is a royal necropolis in the desert on the west bank of the Nile, about 40 kilometers (25 miles) south of Cairo. It is known for several pyramids, two of which are among the oldest, largest, and best-preserved in Egypt, built from 2613–2589 BCE. (1 hour spent)

• Memphis and Sakkara - Continue your tour to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, where you will see the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx. This city dates back to 3100 B.C. (1 hour spent)
