Amazing belly dance show - The boat trip was very good. The dinner was ok but the best part was definitely the belly dance. The dancer was amazing and engaged with the audience and was very sweet with the children.

Nile Maxim dinner cruise - Transport to and from hotel was efficient and friendly. The show was great, particularly the belly dancer.

Must do - We got the full package including pick up from hotel. Much better than getting stressed with taxi. Very nice experience, worth the price. Our guide, Ahmed, was a great guy. The food was great. Not buffet as stated/paid but plate of veal/chicken/fish. Better though as the fish was amazing. NOTE: the buffet dinner advertized is not for the dinner, only salad buffet. Nice night view of Cairo. Belly dancing was great. Definitely recommended.

Nice trip - It’s a novel experience to see the whirling dervish and the belly dancer. The boat smelled like petrol so we stayed on the deck for much of the ride where we saw both the show and the night scenes along the Nile. We would recommend this trip maybe have a mask for inside if you are sensitive to smells.

The Turouna and the Belly... - The Turouna and the Belly dancing were entertaining. The salad bar was not appetizing as people were touching with their hands. The entree is good. The local guide was very good, very decent and helpful.

Crowded Cruise, Stunning Nile - We sailed on the Nile Maxim on a weekday evening. The boat was crowded with big, noisy groups, so the enjoyment was necessarily limited for other guests. The food was indifferent - the salad spread the worst we have eaten in Cairo - and the cigarette smoke inside the cabin suffocating. Loved the belly dancer and the band; sad the tannoura dancer spent more time enabling photos from table to table than spinning. The Nile still enchanted, but the cursory service left us less than impressed. Not worth the price

A mixed experience - Well 2 hour cruise with entertainment and a 3 course meal expect to pay minimum 1000 egp per head including taxes. I would say its value for money. Food was good not great, but again its the total experience as well. However at the end service charge was 300 egp on a bill on 2600 egp (totalling around 3000) , however the waiter gave us a rude stare as we didnot tip more than the service charge. I would request the management to sort this out. This gesture is not welcome and unprofessional.

Pointless tourist trap - Quite unremarkable evening at the Maxim. The food is scarce and with very few options: a poor salad bar and main course selected among 3 fixed options: chicken, fish and veal. I have been served better meals in the economy class of airplanes than here. The dancing attractions are more silly than entertaining. The company of the guide during the dinner is completely unnecessary. Left the tour stil hungry and glad it was over.

Tourist trap - Dreadful food The entertainment was weird and wouldn't recommend. We paid 200 us dollars for the 2 hour trip through our guide. Definitely overpriced and poor quality show.

Uncivilized - As per usual it’s 3am and I can’t sleep due the loud dreadful music coming from this venue. Total lack civility and a veritable apathy to the local elderly community. I am speechless at the utter disregard of the residential community. Enough is enough. No venue with any amount of decency in this day and age should be allowed to operate in this way. Shame on you.
