Awesome night tour - Junior was an amazing host and guide. He made us coffee and hot chocolate on arrival. We were able to see a kinkajou, possums, two different species of frogs, tarantula, coffee snake, an owl and other birds. Junior was super knowledgeable. He was also able to point out the different trees and plants as well as showcase the coffee he grows on site. Would highly recommend if you are in the area.

Worthwhile Experience - Junior was a great guide, with years of experience and has a great eye for spotting wildlife of all types and sizes.

Amazing experience - Guides were extremely passionate and kind, their enthusiasm for nature really was apparent. They even drove us to another spot to see a sloth! Very educational and enjoyable.

Wild night walk - Junior was great, got to see some incredible wild life. We got to see spiders, sloths, frogs and various raccoon family animals.

So many animals and things to learn! - This was one of our favorite things we’ve done on our Costa Rica trip. There were only two of us on this walk but we were treated to coffee beforehand and some chocolate after. Junior was very knowledgeable and was fun to follow through the forest. He taught us about the plants, and animals on his property as well as the stars. We did see a mother sloth and her baby far up in a tree as well as a glass frog and many sleeping birds. If we had another night in Monteverde I would have booked again!

Awesome night tour - Junior was fantastic had lots of knowledge about animals, astrology and coffee! We managed to see snakes, spiders, a frog, sleeping toucans and a kinkajou! He was able to spot the animals incredibly well and we really enjoyed the tour. After even though we hadn’t booked a coffee tour or the extra coffee part, we sat down he made us coffee and talked about his passion for good coffee and the production of good coffee beans. Thoroughly recommend!

A customized, great night jungle walk - I showed up two hours earlier, but Junior accommodated me, as the only guest, with some coffee, sugar cane juice, and customized the night trip so that he made sure I saw many animals, especially some snakes and spiders. WOW, this trip delivered! We spotted many animals, including but not exclusively a kinkajou, sleeping birds, a huge tree tarantula, and some eyelash vipers.

One of the best experience in Costa Rica - It was really funny and interesting discovering the forest with Greyvin, he's very good in finding animals and guiding you into the wild!! I loved this tour because the group is not too big and they are very professional and available to meet your every wish. I was very lucky seeing the tarantula, the slot, the armadillo, some frogs and other little rare animals. I felt safe with this group and I would like to do It again one day, if you pass from there try it and enjoy!! PURA VIDAAA

Awesome Night Tour! - We highly recommend this tour. It felt as if Junior and his partner (sorry, we did not catch his name) were authentic and humble as they treated us to a cup of their coffee before we started. They then took us for a walk in their coffee plantation and were just as excited as we were to find a two toed sloth, kinkajous, bats, tarantulas, leaf cutter ants and many sleeping birds. Junior had a hard time ending the tour because he kept finding some thing else to share with us along the way.

A fun nightime walk in the forest with Junior - My girlfriend and I had a great time on the Cafe Ancestros night tour! Junior was our host, and he took us on a fun and entertaining walk through the forest surrounding his small coffee plantation and tasting room. We saw kinkajous, toucans, tarantulas, snakes, and different kinds of exotic frogs and insects. No sloths on this occasion though - maybe next time! Exploring the forest at night was very atmospheric, and we learned a lot about the local wildlife from Junior, who was a very knowledgeable guide. We also booked the coffee tour with Junior on a separate day, which we also really enjoyed; I would definitely recommend booking the two as a package. Thanks again to Junior and the team, you guys are doing a great job and really brightened up our trip :)
