Fun and relaxing time - Service was great, we got a tour of the reef and then had time to explore by ourselves. There were lounging areas and food and drink places also. Very relaxing and at your own pace.

A wonderful beach experience for the family! - The snorkeling area was right off shore and included some underwater statues, colorful fish and some coral. I had a young child and Ricardo was excellent with accommodating her needs, while the rest of the group was able to dive and explore. Lunch was delicious. The chicken fajitas were amazing. Beach loungers and bathrooms nearby. We had a great time!

Great first-time scuba experience for the whole family - Fantastic first time scuba experience for our 12 and 14 year olds! Angel was a wonderful guide and made all of us feel very comfortable. Saw lots of colorful fish, conch with crabs, lobsters. We were here on Christmas Day and the ocean temperature was pleasant. Get to the beach early to get a nice spot with an umbrella. Thank you for a fun time!

Mj's Chankanaab - Great time at MJ's. Easy in, safe and fun scuba, highly recommend this for families of any age. They offer free drinks next door. The drinks are great, the food not so much.

Worth it - Few fish, but dolphins very good to see while snorkeling. Food and drink but expensive. Great facility, lots of geckos.

Plenty of fish - Please note that you are charged an extra $10 fee per person to get in when purchasing from this site. If you get passed how rundown the place. The snorkeling is the one of the most beautiful places that I have ever been too. The fish were so beautiful and come right up to you.

Eh - Pretty run down half the park isn’t accessible and the only thing that was good was the sea lions. The water accents weren’t working.

Pitiful experience for the money - First of all, it took over 30 minutes and 3 calls to a "worker" in the scuba area to come and get us from the front entrance. Apparently bc I paid thru a 3rd party company, they had our entrance tickets. We decided not to snorkel bc two of us weren't feeling well. We instructed the worker that we just wanted to sit on the beach and enjoy the day. He insisted that we had to snorkel and that there was a snorkeling session that we had to attend. We went back and forth with him several times before he decided to call his "boss". The boss starts screaming on the phone with me, also cursing the worker over the phone. We again told the worker that we just wanted to relax on the beach. Then his boss came to the front entrance and told us that we still have a balance of $30 to pay, even though our reservation stated the balance of $152 was paid in full. The boss continued to ensue a verbal altercation with my daughter and I about the $30. My daughter reluctantly paid the money and then we were led to an area that had no place to swim! We also were supposed to receive a welcome drink , which we had to ask for. I also asked about towels and was told that the boss was gonna "throw them in as a service". All in all, we had 3 hours to spend at the park bc we had to allow time to get back at the cruise ship at a certain time. General admission was $29.99/person at the park; so I spent another $60 over what we could have paid. Also, we wouldn't have been harassed by the "boss", who was very unprofessional and rude! His cursing and screwming was very upsetting to our party of 4, two of whom were under the age of 18. He also cursed his worker several times after we sat down. Don't waste your time! Pay for the general admission tickets at the park itself. It's not worth dealing with such an unprofessional company.
