• The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Meet your guide at your Xi’an hotel lobby. You will be transferred by a comfortable vehicle to the Terracotta Army Museum, where your guide will share the history and stories of the area.

The museum spans 16,300 square meters and is divided into three sections: No.1 Pit, No.2 Pit, and No.3 Pit. No.1 Pit is the largest and was first opened to the public on China’s National Day in 1979. It features columns of soldiers at the front and war chariots at the back. No.2 Pit, discovered in 1976, is located 20 meters northeast of No.1 Pit and contained over a thousand warriors and 90 wooden chariots. It was opened to the public in 1994. Archeologists also discovered No.3 Pit in 1976, 25 meters northwest of No.1 Pit, which appeared to be the command center of the armed forces. In total, over 7,000 pottery soldiers, horses, chariots, and weapons have been unearthed from these pits, with most restored to their former grandeur.

It is recognized as a “National First-Class Museum” and one of China’s “Top 50 Must-Visit Destinations.”
