We set out to discover the remnants of a complex from the 10th century comprising multiple Hindu temples, among them a 7-tiered pyramid and the unvisited tourist spots like Koh Ker temple cluster. Another far-flung temple, located on the fringes of a plateau overlooking the expanse of Cambodia, the Temple of Preah Vihear, and Preah Vihear Temple, both venerated to the Hindu Deity Shiva under the guise of Shri Shikarashvara or Lord of the Peak, are exceptional examples of the Khmer’s artistic prowess. Following the excursion, we return to Siem Reap.
