I don't normally like to use tours as I work in the travel industry myself but knew I wanted to get the full experience in Egypt, primarily as we were going for my mom's 70th birthday and I not only wanted it to be flawless in terms of logistics but also did not want to be among the masses especially in the museums which get very packed. It being a bucket list trip, I wanted to be sure we had the right guides to get a full history of each site and not have to queue or deal with faulty audio guides. Ibrahim and his team were professional from the start and helped plan out my itinerary given my budget and dates. All internal flights, cars and guides were booked we just showed up! Our guide, Ashraf, in Luxor/Aswan was a walking encyclopedia , SO well read and knew exactly what time to visit what to avoid crowds. Ahmed, in Cairo was excellent as well and was flexible with our schedule throughout the day. Both have such a passion for Egptyology and are full of SO MUCH KNOWLEDGE. November was a perfect month in terms of weather with cooler temperatures in the mornings and evenings and sunny and perfect in the day. All the cars used were new, with strong A/C and power outlets for the phone (important!) Egypt is 100% worth doing with a professional not only to avoid the hassle of driving / taxis etc but to really learn 1:1 the fascinating history. I can not recommend Ibrahim and his team enough and will be recommending Egypt Tours Gate to all !

Egypt Tours Gate – Best tour operator in Egypt! - Ibrahim and Egypt Tours Gate were recommended to us by happy customers, and I highly recommend them to anyone thinking of touring Egypt. Everything for our trip went perfectly, from planning to airport transfers, drivers, boat captains, and especially our guides and expert Egyptologists, Ahmed and Peter who were sooo knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. It all made for a thoroughly enjoyable holiday that we will talk about for years to come! Thanks everyone! Our trip was customised by Ibrahim, to meet our preferences for places to visit, and our schedule, so we skipped Hurghada, and added Abu Simbel, and a balloon ride over the valley of the kings, and ended with a day trip to Alexandria, while also taking in all the ‘usual’ sites in and around Cairo, Giza, Aswan, Luxor, plus an overnight on a felucca where we played cards under the stars, while enjoying delicious Egyptian food, and next morning watched ibis fishing in the Nile as the sun came up; such memories! There were suggestions to cancel or defer the trip because of the trouble in Gaza which has a border with Egypt, but our trip brought us no-where near that conflict. We travelled from Alexandria on the Med coast all the way down to Abu Simbel, 40 km from the border with Sudan, and while we saw security at the entrance to all sites, it only served to make us feel safer, and the Egyptian people everywhere were friendly and welcoming. An amazing, unforgettable vacation. Thanks again.

I 100% reccomend Ibrahim & Egypt Tours Gate to anyone traveling to Egypt!! - We just finished our 10day trip and we're so delighted with how incredible every single day was, and so thankful for how well taken care of we were by Ibrahim and his team the whole time! (Thanks so much!!) Ibrahim helped us build an action packed itinerary (Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, hot air ballooning, overnight on a felucca, and just about every temple & obelisk from Abu Simbel to Alexandria!) and somehow managed to make everything happen in a way that was so seemless, comfortable, & fun. He checked in with us by WhatsApp regularly and responded to any message almost immediately. I really feel like he went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience of Egypt possible! (Thanks again!!) Our tour guide for Cairo, Giza & Alexandria was Ahmed, and he was brilliant! Really knowledgeable, positive, chatty, and able to guide us through a huge amount of history (& terrain) in a really engaging way. He's also a brilliant photographer and suggested some great views & vantage points (as well as some great restaurants!). Peter was our guide for Aswan, Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo & Luxor, and he was just the most wonderful person. He made the history of the sites into a kind of game that kept us all not only interested but also laughing. He was so well informed and genuinely imterested - a born tour guide (if not historian!). He worked in extra activities for us, and he fit in with the group like an old friend! (taught us a new card game and everything!) We couldn't say enough positive things about our guides, our trip, or about Egypt itself. Such an incredible experience!!
