You will not regret booking this tour🙌🏽 - This trip was 100% amazing. I went with who was my boyfriend and became my fiancé on this trip. We learned so much, saw so much and within 8 days truly felt like we got to know Cusco which is such an honor. Katy was our travel agent with Chullos and she truly amazing, answered all of our questions at any hour. 10/10 customer service! We also got to be guided by Romelo and Ronal during our tours and both were above and beyond amazing. Ronal literally took my partner and I to a secluded area of Machu Picchu and took the most amazing surprise video for me. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and this trip made me know it’ll be a twice in a lifetime opportunity because I HAVE to see more! You will not regret booking this tour (:

So many logistics excellently taken care of! - It's amazing what this tour company accomplished. For so many days of arranging transportation (which involved vans, trains, and buses), tickets, hotels, breakfasts and lunches, it's astonishing how well it all worked. We had no issues at all with being able to finish visiting one site and being ready and on-time with a train ticket for the next. The tour company messaged me on Whatsapp daily to make sure all the details were in place, and it was easy to pull up bus and train tickets that they sent on my phone (I would definitely recommend having a phone that can access data so that messaging apps like Whatsapp are possible). And then, of course, the actual sites. Every site is as gorgeous as the postcards imply they are. The tour guides told us a ton of information in both English and Spanish about all the sites and answered all our questions. Such interesting history here, what an honor to be able to see it all in person. A few things to note about some of the excursions: All of the tours visit absolutely amazing places and all of the tour guides had a ton of interesting information about them. But as a note about our experience: I am 32 years old and in average health for my age, and I brought my 67-year-old mother, who is also in average health for her age. Some of these tour sites are at extremely-high altitudes (Rainbow Mountain is 17,000 feet above sea level) and require up to two and a half roundtrip hours of walking, so know your limits. Sometimes you can rent horses to help with the distance, so bring extra cash to rent them if walking (sometimes at relatively-steep inclines) might be an issue for you. My mother and I had no problem walking around most of the sites including Machu Picchu itself, but Humantay Lake and Rainbow Mountain were quite difficult for us both (I managed to walk Rainbow Mountain without a horse, but I needed a horse for Humantay Lake). Overall though, we had such an excellent experience with this tour company and with the beautiful locations. Definitely recommend for making the most of your trip around the Cusco area.

A GREAT JOURNEY WITH CHULLOS - My friends and me enjoyed our trip to Machu Picchu with Chullos Travel. We were met at the Lima airport who welcomed us and took us to our hotel. Given the information of the area in which we stayed. The next day we were transferred to the airport and then we met again with the Cusco staff and headed to our hotel. He had excellent guides in Cusco and Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. They were all great and the hotels staff were very helpful and nice. Thanks Peru, Chullos Travel a great trip.

ONE OF MY BEST HOLIDAYS - One of my best vacation experiences! From planning to execution, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. We traveled all over Peru, and no matter what the destination was, a representative was there to pick us up, take us to the hotel, provide us with information relevant to the particular location, and everything was helpful. The same can be said for the hotels we stayed in. In all the places we went, the hotel staff was willing to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Last but not least, I would like to congratulate Daniel for making the entire booking process so easy for us.

7 day Solo trip to Cusco - After trawling through Tripadvisor, Viator and Tourrador, I narrowed down my choice of sights to visit in Peru in 7 days. Chullo travel were the ones that seemed to have the closest match to my requirements. I was travelling on from a work trip in Florida and would be doing this tour on my own (49 yr old woman). I contacted Chullo directly by email and phone. I spoke to Milena who guided and organised the whole trip. The rest of the communication was through WhatsApp. Milena was an absolute star throughout my booking and whilst I was there. I chopped and changed my mind so many times, she was always patient and helped me make my final tour decisions with the information I needed. She adapted the tours to suit my needs, even whilst I was in Cusco, with last minute changes. She was always just a WhatsApp away. I spent one night in Lima before flying early to Cusco the following morning. Unfortunately when I arrived there were some issues with strikes and flooding which meant last minute changes to my tours, however, Milena dealt with it with all efficiently and kept me updated. All the tours are changeable so you can pick what you want to do and they will provide the costing. I wanted to go and stay on the floating villages on lake Titicaca (LT), Milena organised everything. I did the following Lake Titicaca, Humantay Lake (HL) Machu Picchu (MP) Maras and Moray, Rainbow Mountain (RM) and Tour of Cusco. Everything was organised with pick and drop offs. There was a few times that I had to wait for the driver, they were never more than ten minutes late, but it did sometimes send into panic when waiting at 3.30am. Tours were always with different guides, all spoke very good English. If you can ask a tour guide ask for Jonathan. He was a star, super patient, kind and took the best photos and videos. Jair was my guide for MP and did an amazing job, with enough information without overloading and taking all the right pictures from the best angles. Having the right guide is so important because these trips are not easy, mentally or physically. I am at my heaviest and unfittest, however not afraid of a challenge. I walk around 10k a day and have quite a active work day. But what hits you arriving into Cusco is the altitude. For anyone arriving, take a day to acclimatise. I had a city tour booked for the afternoon of my arrival. After the first segment I started feeling horrendously sick, I ended up sitting in the minibus for the rest of the tour with my eyes closed and breathing heavily. Most of the tours start at 3.30-4am. Humantay and Rainbow Mountain are both physically challenging because of the altitude. I gave up and had to use a horse otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to keep up with the group. You still have to hike a little but the majority of it is done by horse. You do at least in the rainy season have to walk down as it is too dangerous for the horses. Wear sensible hiking shoes, I saw a couple of people slide and fall as they were wearing normal trainers, it was extremely muddy. After HL, I decided I wanted to do RM privately, I didn’t want to feel the pressure of having to keep up with the group. Plus you can leave a little later. I would highly recommend Chullo travel. They organised everything perfectly. Milena answered all my questions and trust me I had a lot. I organised this trip from home (London) all through WhatsApp. Payment was made through PayPal. They can tailor all the hotels according to your budget. Things to bear in mind, you are not with the same tour group every day. I was lucky I got Jonathan for two of my tours. Roksana was also very good for Humantay. You’ll bump into some of the people on other tours and that was always nice. Whilst I was travelling in rainy season do come prepared with good hiking boots, layers as it can go from really warm to really cold. Altitude sickness tablets, take them every morning with your breakfast. Carry a roll of toilet paper with you or tissues, they do not supply it and if they do one sheet! Try to book the tours in English only, the city tour was a bilingual tour so it took twice and long. Try to brush up on some basic Spanish, it will help an lot, especially if you are vegetarian. Be kind to the indigenous people who supplement their livelihood with the horses on the trips, it really was eye opener how they live. It’s a beautiful country Peru, one that is holding on to its culture. LT, there was no tv, internet or electricity. I was on my own and the mental strength to rely on nature was not easy. The Uros people live a simple life and it was an absolute privilege to be amongst them for a couple of days.

Dont book chullos travel - Although they are prompt to pick me up but they gave me bad hotel in cusco and machu pichu. The one in cusco has smelly room, stains on carpet, i had bug bites, breakfast terrible, floor has squiky woods so i can heard people steps from top to the side. In machu pichu hotel is dark, far away from center so i must walk 30 minutes inclined, no heater, no hot water. The second day before board to train, the tour guide drop me in the street because he run out of time.so, i must search the train station and walk 35 minutes and he drop meat 250 pm and train on board at 3:07 pm. The food lunch also horrible and i still have to pay 25 soles! I thought food is include.
