Gladly again - Everything worked out perfectly! Bebo was on time, very nice, picked us up from the stops, supplied us with mango juice, showed his music and drove us to the airport at the end.

The best way to see highlights of Egyptian history and Cario in 1 day - We had a brilliant tour with Adham who was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable of all Egyptian history from ancient times until today. He gave a good summary of key events and was great at making sure we can get a good look at things we wanted to see. He was also was happy to take lots of photos for us and answer my countless curious questions. We were impressed how much we were able to pack into 8 hours with Adham. You need at least 2 hours in the museum (you could spend a whole day here if that’s your thing) and we spent well over an hour in the Coptic Quarter (which was more interesting than expecting), 30 mins at the bazaar/market and 1 hour for lunch (paid by ourselves). The rest of the time was spent driving, queuing and walking as you normally would in Cairo. Adham and his driver were even nice enough to drive us to the airport without requesting extra payment or pressuring for tips (I would of course recommend tipping appropriately based on your enjoyment of the day). We’re thankful for the unforgettable experience!

Outstanding Experience with Our Cairo Guide Karim! - I cannot recommend our guide in Cairo enough! From the moment we met, their warmth and enthusiasm made us feel welcome and excited about our adventure. Their extensive knowledge of the history, culture, and landmarks truly brought the ancient sites to life. They took us to breathtaking places like the Egyptian Museum, sharing fascinating stories and insights along the way. Every detail of the tour was carefully planned, making our experience smooth and enjoyable. What stood out the most was their genuine passion for sharing Egypt’s rich heritage, which made the trip even more memorable. Thank you for an unforgettable experience! If you’re visiting Cairo, make sure to book this guide – you won’t regret it! PS: The Driver Yosef I just wanted to thank you for the excellent service and company during our trip. Your kindness and professionalism made the experience even more enjoyable.

Our guide was very... - Our guide was very friendly and enthusiastic. But with an itinerary that is so jam packed I would recommend that you agree up front the priorities for the day so that you don’t waste time going to things that you are not interested in ( in our case perfume, silver, spices and cotton shops)

Museum great, helpful to have a tour guide to get around - Museum was great, especially King Tut exhibition (just a shame you can't take photos of this bit). Wish we'd had more time in the museum. Coptic area was interesting but not a highlight of the trip. There was a good Bazaar and bookshop there though which was where we bought the souvenir statues we wanted, which turned out the be the best ones we saw across the whole trip (so very pleased to have bought there!). Market Bazaar was very busy and we were told not to buy anything as it was basically cheap tat so that felt like a bit of a pointless part of the trip. They tried to take us to the same shops we'd been to on the tour the day before so all tour guides obviously have the same places to try and get you to spend money, but once we said we'd done it and didn't want to go again they were fine (although clearly a bit miffed so not sure if they're on commission!) Tour guide for this trip wasn't very attentive to us as a group (can't even remember his name!) We had 2 party members with walking sticks but he still kept walking so fast we couldn't keep up and sometimes we totally lost where he went. On the way back to the hotel he even fell asleep in the van!

Only a driver, nothing else - I'll start this review by owning up to my own mistake. I thought the tour started an hour later than it did. The driver, Hamed, patiently waited for us. That said, we were disappointed in the car itself ... Having taken a different private tour the day before which was newer, clean, well maintained, this vehicle was a disappointed. It was worn, very tired looking and not as comfortable. Bottled water was supposed to be provided and it was not. We had to ask many times for the driver to keep the windows up (and the polluted air out). He finally got the message but only after I had to get very firm. This is really just a driver for a day.. not exactly a "tour." He tried but the driver was not proficient in English. The tour company needs to provide better English speakers. He took us exactly where we asked to be taken (there was confusion over the Egyptian Museum.. I thought we were going to be taken to the GRAND Egyptian Museum (GEM) which the locals call 'Grand Museum' so there was frustration as I thought he was taking us to the wrong place. He also said the 'Grand Museum' was closed which I knew to be untrue. Aside from that, he took us exactly where we asked to be taken and we ended the day earlier than anticipated.
