Another world - So grateful for the experiences that Tanzania offered. Without our fantastic guide Peter Minja, many of them would have passed us by! Responsive, super nice and committed. In my notes from day 1 I wrote like this: It really is a completely different world. The feeling that it's not real can't quite let me go. The messy earthy main streets where bananas, onions and furniture are sold. Where meat hangs on hooks in direct sunlight. Maasai in traditional dress, sometimes carrying large sacks on their heads, sometimes with just a shepherd's staff in hand. A slower pace, they stroll forward. Houses that don't even correspond to a woodshed at home. Children who are responsible for a giant herd of free-roaming cows compared to children at home who barely have any responsibility for themselves. And then I haven't even mentioned that there are elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and gazelles along the completely normal roads. Thanks!

Safari Tanzania - Fantastic experience, All in all, no major challenges either before or during the journey. Our guide on the safari, Issa from Zara, was top notch and the experience would not have been the same without him. We were picked up and delivered punctually at agreed times, and he had great knowledge of animals, plants and what else we had questions about. We got to see all the animals we had hoped for and then some. Miriam and Oskar

Tantalizing Tanzania - Zara was subcontracted through World Adventure Tours and we couldn’t have been happier! We were the only two guests in our Land Cruiser and that was great for taking photos on all sides of the vehicle no matter where the animals were! We first had Victor as our guide and Godlove as our driver for our day tour around Moshi to the delightful Chemka Hot Springs, then a fun and informative coffee processing experience, and finally a nice hike to the lovely Materuni Waterfall. They were both very friendly and informative and made us feel very welcome and at ease in our new environment. Then after an night in Moshi and a two night stay at the wonderful Original Massai Lodge, our second driver and guide for the next week, Israel, picked us up and was with us through Lake Manyara, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Crater before returning us to Arusha. The places we visited were all very different and all incredible! We were lucky to see so many animals and Israel was very patient with us as we asked him to stop multiple times each hour for photos!! He was helpful in letting us know the names of birds and even had a bird guide to look up any he didn’t know. He was always very friendly and kind and helpful. Got a little teary eyed saying goodbye! The lodges where we stayed were very authentic and comfortable, especially the Serengeti and Nrongorogoro Crater Wild Camps. The roads were in really rough shape, but Israel was a trusty driver who knew how to navigate the ruts and mud! The staff at the hotels and camps were all extremely attentive, welcoming and helpful. My only suggestion would be for Zara to add another camp closer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area so we didn’t have so much driving one of the days. Thank you for providing us a spectacular Safari in Tantalizing Tanzania!

Jambo Jambo and the liveliness of a language in unity with experiences that remain - Sometimes it takes a reminder to share the value of a trip with people who are planning to do it. Do it! I can sum up this trip in a few words: "Encountering authenticity in the experience of infinity in the light of Hakuna Matata" I did this trip with my dad. It was an incredible experience to experience the silence and incredible peace of Africa in the vastness of untouchedness. Driving for hours through untouched nature and experiencing how the animals live and experiencing what for me is the identification of life and untouchedness, while animals and nature accepted that there are travelers who observe it. We had the best tour guide and driver we could have wished for. Iddy was part of this trip in no time and answered all my questions about every single tree, about every Masai wandering for an endless time through the desert and heat of Africa. He taught me the value of animals for people, how to read the language of circling birds in the distance. How to understand what safari means. He answered all my questions - and there were a lot. He told us the stories of Africa in such detail that my dad and I will always remember them. Just like Johnson, the sunshine that greeted us in the evening in the Serengeti. Johnson? You will make something great of yourself! This young person is so curious about this world and the stories of travelers. His German is so incredibly good, just like Iddy's. And all the others we met on this trip. You make an incredible difference that leaves something in the people you meet. Thank you for this trip and all the experiences that I was able to share and experience with my dad. Thank you Africa!! Thank you Tanzania. Thank you for this gift that will always stay with me - with us. One day I will come back! Promise. by Heribert and Vanessa

Wholesome Adventure - Honestly this was one of the best tours I have ever taken with my husband. Munsa our guide was the very best. His knowledge of the parks made it easy to find the wild animals, then he knew so much about the animals and their habits. Zara are great at organizing wholesome packages with great action and rest at amazing resorts. We fully satisfied with Zara and the tour they put together for us. We will be recommending them to our friends.

Tours and camping in the true heart of the savannah - Our trip to Tanzania was even more special thanks to the professionalism of our guide Jerry from Zara!! His love for nature and his knowledge of animals enriched us. Every question was answered and every request fulfilled, always reminding us that we were on holiday: Hakuna Matata Jerry 😉 We then stayed in the wild camps of Zadar, an experience that led us to live in the true heart of the savannah, with the zebras keeping us company during the night, but always feeling safe thanks to the constant surveillance and the whistles provided to us. Top experience!! The tents were welcoming and equipped with everything, the food was excellent despite it being a mobile camp. Furthermore, Zara's attention to supporting the Maasai community, including by creating schools and providing school buses for the children of the savannah, gives them added value. Happy to have chosen them!

Making Spectacular Memories With Madeal - My brother and I always planned on returning for another trip to Tanzania. We went back to Zara Tours and luckily we got guide Madeal to guide us again. It was an ecstatic reunion with Madeal and he was true to his amazing guiding form. We were booked with Zara Properties, which were luxurious with all that we needed after a long day on a safari. The great migration in the Serengeti's endless plains are scenes right from the National Geographic. It was surreal , getting so close to lions and elephants, there was a cheetah that climbed on top of our Jeep. These will surely be some of the best days of my life.

Wonderful, Excellent, Exciting, Magnificent, Everything we hoped for and more, A truly fantastic experience, Educational - We rated this 5 out of 5 because this was a truly wonderful experience and we had a lot of fun- it couldn’t have been any better. We saw lots of amazing animals, and our guides found a way for us to see every magnificent creature possible. Robert and Zamo were the most wonderful guides, as they were very caring and skilled. They taught us a lot about animals, but also about how people live and the Maasai villages. They spotted many animals for us, that we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Our guides were also very good with kids, and worked really hard to make this the best trip possible. This really fulfilled our expectations and went beyond. The trip was everything we hoped for and much more and we are very grateful to our wonderful guides, Robert and Zamo.
