Africa Joy Tours is the best decision! - Travelling with Africa Joy Tours was awesome. Everything was perfectly organized including the pick-up and drop-off at the airport. We did a three-day-hike up to the summit of mount Meru. Bryson, our tour guide, helped us to reach the summit in time for the sunrise, which was an amazing view we’ll never forget. His team organized our sleepovers in the different camps very well and prepared very nice meals for us (breakfast, lunch, dinner and water were included). After the hike we did a safari for five days. Joachim was the perfect guide, new all the good spots to see the animals (lions, elefants, zebras, leopards, hippos, rhinos etc.), had a lot of information for us and speeks very good German. We stayed in tented camps, which were all amazing and offered nice food, and one night in a public camp, in the middle of the Serengeti parc, which was an unique experience. The communication with the agency was very easy via WhatsApp. The combination of the two activities, the length of our trip and the accommodations were individually combined for us. We can definitely recommend to travel with Africa Joy Tours.

Amazing experience! - My husband and I did the Africa Joy Tour for our honeymoon. We can not speak more highly of Clinton and Eric - they were communicative from the start when we were planning, to arriving to pick us up, to each day of the safari. Eric our tour guide was punctual, has a great eye for animals, and was fun to be around. The hotels they work with are luxurious and we felt spoiled our entire time there while we enjoyed our adventure of lions, zebras, elephants and more. Would highly recommend!

Once in a Lifetime Amazing Safari Experience - I was planning this once in a lifetime trip for my family and I was getting different quotes. What stood out for me from the beginning was the excellent and clear communication I received from the Africa Joy Tours representative Emmanuel. He provided a very personal experience with arranging the trip and was very flexible in meeting our needs. I knew straight away that I wanted to book with Africa Joy Tours The itinerary was updated with each change so we knew exactly what the plan was going to be even with small details like incoming flight and also outgoing flight, dietary requirements and even allergies etc. So on our way to Tanzania from the UK we missed one of our connecting flights which meant we were arriving later than expected. I messaged Emmanuel (at 10pm in the evening!!) and he immediately replied back and made sure everything will be taken care of and even told us who our guide/driver Praygod will be to pick us up at the airport. We went to the hotel (African Tulip in Arusha) at around 10:30pm and the hotel kept the kitchen open just for us in case we wanted dinner! The staff provided us with toiletries and extras as we had nothing and the shops were closed. Now on to the safari. Praygod our guide is so knowledgeable and kind and was the perfect person for us. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the trip and it was down to Praygod for this. We managed to see all the animals we had on our list and it was down to Praygod expert knowledge on how and where to find the animals. We learned so much from him and had fun in the process. I highly recommend Africa Joy Tours if you are planning on going safari! Great work guy's!!

AMAZING 5 DAY SAFARI WITH AFRICA JOY TOURS - Our Tanzania experience on safari with Africa Joy Tours was truly awesome – and we send a big THANK YOU to this great team of dedicated people. Our skilful driver and experienced guide, Elias proudly showed us amazing animals and reptiles. The extensive list included lions, giraffe, antelope, cheetahs, leopards, lizard, python, hyenas, hippos. We also enjoyed a feast of birds, from the pretty peach faces to hornbills, owls, eagles and the elegant secretary bird and crowned cranes. As well as informative information about animal behaviour, the an insight about customs and lifestyle of the people of this harsh land was shared. This holiday was a special family time for us and everyone who looked after us was exceptional. – Vera – your efficient and dependable customer service was greatly appreciated, especially when travel details changed – Elias - thank you for looking after us so well and sharing your love of Africa. – The staff in all of our stays were caring and responsive of our comfort – thank you very much.

Amazing experience - We had a great 5 Days Safari in Tanzania with Africa Joy Tours. James, our guide took great care of us and of our expectations. Even if we came in the rainy season he still managed to get us to see the animals, was very friendly, calm, he knows so much about them and cares for the tourists and their well-being. He took us from the airport, waited for us whenever we wanted to take a break, was very punctual and always ready to make us have a great experience. 5 Days Safari In Serengeti And Ngorongoro - The Safari was amazing!!! We was in a couple and we did the 5 day safári. Praygod was our driver, and he was fantastic!!! Very nice and friendly!! He showed us all the big fives and other animals. He asked the animals that we wanted to see and did everything to show us. He explained a lot of things, knows about everything and every animals. The lunch is food not snacks (a very good), a soup, food and fruits. There are soda, water and wine to drink. You can bring some snacks to eat between the meals with you want (I recomend)

Best Safari with kind and professional Crew - We did the three-day budget safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. Covid has had no impact on their service, and we were able to book a safari on the day of our choice. Clinton (the company owner) was responsive via email/whatsapp, and very professional. Paying the deposit was simple. The actual tour was fantastic, made all the better by our engaging and knowledgeable guide Simba. Though we were in a group we felt that the experience was tailored to our needs, and could go looking for different animals as we pleased. We had opportunity to see a Masai village, but in no way felt pressured to do so. We saw so many animals over three days and each setting had a different beautiful landscape. It far exceeds previous safari experiences that we've done on a similar budget, mainly because of our guide and the kind and generous staff. The accommodation was very good given we opted for a budget safari - basic but clean, with a hot private shower and a very comfy bed! The chef was also brilliant, cooking a large and varied meal everyday - so many dishes we could never finish it all. I would absolutely go with Africa Joy tours if you are going to Tanzania for safari!

Great trip in challenging times! - We initially booked our 5 day safari back in February and decided to go despite COVID-19 outbreak and flight cancellations. We are grateful to Africa joy tours for making this trip happen and highly recommend them to everyone. INCREDIBLE safari and kili climb - I would like to thank AFRICA JOY TOURS for providing myself and my son with the most memorable experience. Our family has a long, storied history in Tanzania going back to the late 1800's and I had been planning to take my son , now 22, to show him this part of his heritage. We were looking at a safari and kili climb. I had been to Tanzania/Kenya twice and to many safaris already,but never in northern Tanzania. Researching a kili climb is a daunting task.I chose to go with a local company, and found Africa Joy Tours. After contacting the owner, Clinton, my decision was made to go with his company.I could not have made a better choice.A private safari/climb is what we wanted, and the price was incredibly reasonable for the package. The 4 day serengeti/crater safari was simply incredible all round. We were lucky enough to see everything we could hope for including leopard, cheetahs, and rhinos.Camping for 2 of the nights in the tented camp was definitely a highlight. For the KILI climb we chose the 8 DAY NORTHERN ROUTE . For us it was lived up to all our expectations . Very few people on at least 4 of the days, varied terrain,and successful summit. I can't give enough praise to the whole crew that took care of us on the mountain.Extremely friendly, capable and skilled.Of special note were our 2 guides Raymond and Dickson, who we became good friends with, and ensured our successful, safe, summit.The cook , Rama, was also incredibly good.They went over and above any of the expectations we had of the climb.A truly lasting lifetime memory. Having this crew , led by these wonderful 2 young men on this special adventure is a highlight in my life that has been filled with extensive world travel.Being a firefighter for 35yrs, I appreciate the value of having a good team, and that is exactly what you get with AFRICA JOY TOURS, from top to bottom.
