Luxor West Bank Tour and Sailing to Edfu
Valley of the Kings - After breakfast, start your day by driving to the West Bank to explore the Theban Necropolis, including the Valley of the Kings, where New Kingdom pharaohs carved their tombs in the mountains to hide their treasures and protect their mummies.
Temple of Hatshepsut - Next, visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Enjoy the unique design of this temple and listen to your guide recount the story of Queen Hatshepsut, the sole female Pharaoh who ruled Egypt.
Colossi of Memnon - Conclude your West Bank tour with a photo stop at the colossal statues of Memnon.
Nile River Valley - Return to the cruise by noon for lunch. Begin sailing down the Nile River, enjoy afternoon tea on the sundeck, cross Esna Lock, and overnight in Edfu.
Edfu Temple and Kom Ombo Temple-Aswan
Temple of Horus - After breakfast, take a horse carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the most complete and best-preserved of all Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise.
Nile River Valley - Relax on the deck, taking in the unique landscape and scenery of the Nile River while sailing to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board and afternoon tea on the sundeck.
Temple of Kom Ombo - In the late afternoon, stop at Kom Ombo to visit the unique double temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Return to the cruise for dinner, followed by a folkloric party hosted by the cruise staff and tour guides. Continue sailing to Aswan for overnight.
