Nairobi - Nanyuki

Equator Marker - DAY 1
You will be picked from your Nairobi hotel for a journey to Nanyuki town arriving in time for lunch. The afternoon is spent leisure as you walk around to acclimatize and a visit to Mau Mau Caves and the local community around the mounation

Nyeri - Drive through Kikuyu farmland with a brief stop at Karatina market to some farm fresh vegetables and fruits.

Nanyuki- Sirimon Gate- Old Moses camp

Mount Kenya National Park - After breakfast, leave your hotel for a transfer to Sirimon park gate and take a hike to Old Moses camp. Dinner and overnight and Old Moses Camp

Mount Kenya National Park - You will walk through tropical rain Forest and possibility of encountering wild animals like buffaloes, Giraffes and many others are common. Continue to Old Moses camp for dinner and over night

OLD MOSES CAMP - SHIPTON’S CAMP

Mount Kenya - After breakfast, leave Old Moses camp for Shipton’s camp via Mackinder’s valley arriving in Shipton’s after the 8-9hours walk.[4,200m] above sea level. Dinner and overnight at Shipton’s camp.

Shipton’s camp - Point Lenana - Nanyuki town.

Mount Kenya - You will wake up at 2.30 am and get ready to attemptpoint Lenana. The trek will take about 3 hours and you are expected to be at the summit just before the sunrise to see the sun rising. After point Lenana, descend to Husberg Col for breakfast and then continue to Mintos hut for dinner and over night.

Mintos Hut - Chogorai Bandas - Nairobi

Chogoria - After breakfast, descend slowly down to Chogoria Bandas and proceed to Chogoria town after checking out from the park arriving in Chogoria town in time for lunch. After lunch proceed to Nairobi arriving in the evening
