AIRPORT PICK UP- CITY TOUR
Tambomachay -
- Upon your arrival at the airport, our representative will be there to greet you and arrange your transfer to the hotel.
- Enjoy a free morning to unwind and get used to the altitude.
- At 2:00 PM, we will collect you from your hotel for the City tour. The first stop is Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), where you’ll have a 45-minute guided tour before boarding our transport.
- After a 30-minute drive, we’ll arrive at Sacsayhuaman (from Quechua saqsay = ‘place to be satiated’ and waman = ‘falcon’, meaning ‘Place where the hawk is satiated’), where a 1-hour guided tour awaits.
- Next, we’ll explore Qenqo (a ceremonial site within a rocky landscape), a site filled with mysticism that becomes palpable as you enter the rock formation.
- A 15-minute drive later, we reach PucaPucara (the ‘red fort’), a military structure.
- The final stop is Tambomachay, also known as the ‘Bath of the Inca’, where rituals involving water were performed. Following our journey, we’ll take transport back to Cusco, with an estimated arrival time of 7:00 pm.

5 Day Cusco/Machu Picchu/Rainbow Mountain Experience - I booked a 5 day tour package with Machu Picchu Journey from Jan 31-Feb 4th. This tour package included a Cusco city tour, Machu Picchu, Humantay Lake, and Rainbow Mountain. Right before I landed in Cusco, there were strikes, and the trains to Machu Picchu were not running. From airport pick-up to drop-off at my bus terminal, they were very accommodating and flexible. They tried really hard to ensure that I got the best experience possible- including coming up with a few options so I could do Machu Picchu. I needed a day off to rest and recovery after Humantay Lake and they were able to reschedule without any difficulties.

WARMTH IN YOUR SERVICE - I 100% recommend the services of Incredible Travel. INCREDIBLE TRIP - The excellent attention and service they gave us, more than met all our expectations. The itinerary of all the places to visit was excellent. The seriousness and punctuality with which they attended us was unbeatable. The friendship and cordiality with which our host Maria received us was impressive. All the guides treated us with cordiality, respect, friendship and knowledge. Transportation for excellent tours. I recommend the services of Machu Picchu Journey, for everyone who wants to visit the beautiful country of Peru.

GREAT AGENCY - My wife and I found the MachuPicchu Journey tour, while we were staying in Cusco, we met Ramiro at the office and have done almost all tours of Cusco with his company, we really enjoyed the horseback riding tour and his expert guide visiting all the historical places .
They are not only tourism professionals, but they will feel safe as if they were with their family.

THE BEST!! - The people at Machu Picchu Journey were absolutely wonderful. If I had to go back I would definitely go with them and also recommend them to all my friends. They speak good English so there were no communication problems. Everyone, especially Daniel, really helped us with our Machu Picchu visit. The guide to go to Machu Picchu gave us an informative tour, too. We are very grateful for the valuable experience we had, which was unexpected from a tourist city like Cusco. If you are looking for the best agency, you can save time by stopping here and go with MachuPicchuJourney!.

A WONDERFUL company and guide! - Jair was my tour guide. He was a wonderful guide! I was not able to walk well but he took very good care of me. The company adjusted my itinerary to cancel out a couple days of difficult walking and give me an easier time with some other beautiful sites that I could enjoy without as much trouble. They were so accommodating and friendly. HIGHLY recommended!
