Beijing and Xian Tour - 8 days - My family of six had a wonderful holiday in Beijing and Xian, thanks very much to Lily Private Tours. Both our tour guides, Vivian in Beijing and Cindy in Xian, were very friendly, knowledgable and professional. They spoke extremely well in English, provided us very good historical perspectives of the sites we visited and took very good care of us, addressing all our needs. The trip to Mutianyu Great Wall was memorable. The trip up to the wall via char-lift and toboganning down the wall was awesome! The other sites in Beijing like the Summer Palace, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven were wonderful. We even visited the pandas at Beijing Zoo. The trip to Xian by high speed train was an experience not to be missed, zooming through the countryside at 306km/h. The visit to the Terracotta Warriors Museum was the highlight of the trip to Xian. The History Museum, the Drum and Bell Tower, the Farming Village and Muslim Quarter were also cultural and historical highlights. Lily Sun and the staff of Lily Private Tours were exceptionally professional and entertained all our requests especially some last minute changes to the itinerary!!! I will recommend Lily Private Tours highly as they ensured that my family had a wonderful, exciting and memorable holiday in China!!!

Excellent - Our private tour with Lily company was the best decision we did when traveling to Beijing . We contact Lily for a day tour to Xian. At first I was hesitant to book from far (US) and months in advance. They’re response to all my emails fast. . I also book them for two days in Beijing. Our guides Michael in Xian and Vivian in Beijing did an excellent job. They were prompt at our hotel and vehicles were impeccable. Food recommendations were the highlight of our visit to China. After our days in Beijing and Xian we promise ourselves we will come back and book with Lily again. Thank you for everything Lily tour guides

Fantastic Tour - A huge thank you to Lily, Michael and Rebecca in Xian and Beijing - Lily's Private Tour was amazing! from the moment we landed in Beijing until we got out of the taxi at Xian airport the service was outstanding. I visited with my mother who is 76 years old and we had a wonderful time. Lily's service prior to our arrival was brilliant, any questions I had she answered and always got back to me very promptly. Despite some changes to itinery a few time by myself she was very accommodating. She put my mind at rest about many issues and was always very professional. When we arrived in Beijing we were met by the drive and transferred straight to our hotel, the next morning we were met by Rebecca who for the next two days showed us round Beijing, she was so helpful and knowledgeable and spoke very good English. When we went to the Great Wall we left early at 730am so when we arrived it was not particularly busy. This meant that despite my mother's slow climb up to the wall when we got there it was not busy at all. Rebecca even hiked with me, whilst my mother rested, all the way to Tower 20 which was such an achievement for me and just amazing. When we left we got taken to the train station which was a bit worrying as it was big, but everything was easily worked out as it was also in English. Our trip on the Bullet train went well and we were met at the train station the other end and taken to our hotel in Xian. Michael our guide for Xian called and introduced himself and we ment him the following morning. He was so kind and generous throughout the day always making sure my mother was ok and not rushing us at all. We stopped and rested on many occassions and this made all the difference to our expereince. He was fun to be with and was more like a friend than a tour guide showing us around. He took us to an amazing restaurant where we had 'Pang Pang' noodles something my mother still talks about now! Michael was incredibly knowledgable about Xian and Chinese history he was interesting to listen to and new so much.. What we loved was that it was just us and Michael and the same in Beijing with Rebecca, so we had their undivided attention all the time as well as a lovely car/SUV and great drivers to transported around it without an worries. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and this was all down to Lily's Private Tour's without a doubt. We hope to return again to China soon and will definately be using Lily's Privat Tour's again.

Private Beijing & Xi'an Tour - We really enjoyed the tour provided by Lily's Private Tour. Our tours guide, Vivian in Beijing and Micheal in Xian were both very knowledgeable, friendly and interesting guides and we enjoyed our time with them in each city. The airport / hotel pick-ups were also very good and took a lot of the worry and stress out of the trip. We got to see all the major sights and enjoy some delicious food. I would highly recommend them to others.

Many thanks to Lily, Michael, Lucy & Vivian in Xian and Beijing! - Prior to travelling to China with my 2 adult sons last month, I booked tours in Beijing and Xian (2 days each) with Lily. She was very prompt in responding with an itinerary, cost, additional information and adjusting things upon request. I felt I was in very good hands with the planning. And the guides were all excellent! Michael did a great job of taking us through Xian. He is very knowledgeable, flexible and easy to get along with. Unusual touches were the delicious (and unusual) wide belt noodles we had for lunch with him and his help with having a seal (chop) made for a friend and delivered to my hotel in a little more than 12 hours. In Beijing, Lucy was a lovely and knowledgeable taking us around to see the major sights in Beijing on the first day & making an unscheduled stop at the Pearl Market upon our request. Vivian was vivacious and accommodating also. On our way to the Summer Place and the Great Wall, she introduced us to yummy, warm spring onion pancakes and other great food as well. She knows her history as well. I also appreciated her taking a lot pictures of us so we could all be in our pictures together and enjoy our memories of this special trip together. Thank you, Lily, Michael, Lucy and Vivian--we really appreciate all that you did! All the best to you!
