Egyptian Nile Expedition - I appreciated the carefully constructed itinerary and the convenience of having an agent coordinating all the different tours and moving parts. The guides were excellent and I always felt welcomed. Hatem was particularly great, given his exceptional knowledge, passion, and friendliness. Our tour operator, Heba Haggag, was also amazing. She was responsive and eager to make sure we were always having a good time. We appreciated her kindness and the thoughtful gift. Our only concern on the trip was for some of the carriage horses in Edfu. Some appeared clearly in poor health and my girlfriend was saddened by the experience. Egypt is amazing place and we won’t soon forget this trip. Thanks for everything!

Amazing trip, unforgettable days ! - The trip was amazing with a very good ship and careful crew. The food and accommodations were 5 star. The guide Mostafa Abdo knows a lot about all the temples and explained in details many things that made the trip unforgettable. Despite the heat of July we could enjoy everything!! I highly recommend the agency as Heba helped during all steps and communicated with us the entire trip.

The expected and the unexpectedly wonderful experience. - I expected the Nile river cruise to be wonderful and it did not disappoint. There was the majesty of the ancient 3 to 4000 year old temples and ruins, the beauty of the meandering Nile river with its green fertile banks and timeless faces of the Egyptian people. I have been on over 10 cruises across the world as well as the river cruises in castle area of Germany. The cruise ship had good food, happy faces of the staff, and good service. The ship does not cater to typical excesses of major cruise lines in terms of spa, gym, restaurant variety and other entertainment but well served it's primary function. Most unexpected was the dedicated Egyptologist guide, HOSSAM RASHWAN who was with us 3 complete days of the trip. He personally micro managed our itinerary, transportation needs, off ship tours and even catered to basic requests to stop at a supermarket, go to the ATM, find restaurants or expedite special shopping desires. He was all-knowing, caring and directive in creating the best experience possible for us. His expertise was readily apparent in Egyptology, he speaks at least 5 different languages, and he endeavored to answer all questions and interests. The guides on these types of cruises are typically contracted by the ship/local tour company and therefore you are able to make requests as well as privately contract the guide for services. This is really what topped our experiences and gave us complete comfort in our safety and his guarantee of a successful event.

Amazing Experience - We were on the Le Fayan cruise and wow! It blew us away! I would recommend everyone to take this boat on the Nile Cruise! As for our day trip guide, Hossam was the most amazing guide. He treated us better than family. He made sure we got to our train in time and even brought us dinner! Take the Le Fayan cruise and make you get Hossam as your guide!! You won’t regret it!

Highly recommend - Completely recommend for anyone considering going to Egypt! Every detail was taken care of thoughtfully and the entire trip was stress free. I cannot say enough how communicative, attentive, and kind our guide Ahmed was. We had so much fun learning about Egypt and exploring all of the temples. Ahmed also was super helpful providing us options for the different days, and having flexibility for the itinerary.

Best Nile cruise with the best guide - Our time at the cruise, with all the site visits was amazing. Everything was perfectly planned and people were very nice. What made it best was our tour guide Ahmed Gad; he is a great story teller, very knowledgeable and keeps you engaged at every site, and he was also very helpful and attentive with us for with questions and asks we had outside of the proper tour.

Best way to visit the temples! - I booked this cruise on my first time in the country, and it was a great way to visit the most important temples and still enjoy the nice and relaxing atmosphere of a cruise. Having a good guide makes all the difference to fully enjoy the experience, and our guide Ahmed Gad was great!! Very knowledgeable and always happy to help us with everything!

Good Trip to See Upper Egypt - Really enjoyed the cruise! We got to see many sites including temples and historical areas Pros: not having to coordinate travel to/from sites, getting to see big highlights like Valley of the Kings and Abu Simbel, common facilities were very nice Cons: food was hit or miss, not up front of certain prices, schedule/itinerary changes without notification (papyrus shop, perfume factory, and alabaster store), boat maintenance (window wouldn't lock, bathroom tiles broken)

Absolutely miserable... - Absolutely miserable experience. - Visits to Papyrus "museum" and Alabaster "workshop" added to itinerary without prior warning. Took time out from what was available to view the actual sites listed, essentially scams that sell the exact same prints/products as every other iteration of these places throughout the country. - Poor quality and limited vegetarian food options. Set menu lunch on first day the option was the same plate as the regular meal just with the meat removed - so rice and vegetables. The rest were buffet but with limited options, staff didn't seem to understand "vegetarian" so ended up with meat dishes on my plate multiple times despite asking them what did/didn't contain meat. Requested vegetarian "breakfast box" on final day and received a chicken sandwich. - Room was average at best, quite dirty in the bathroom and the fridge actually warmed anything placed inside. Had better results cooling anything but using the room air conditioning. Impossible to sleep, work or really do anything while the boat was sailing as the entire room vibrated/shook violently due to the engine leasing to severe sleep deprivation. - Tours were OK, but very short and with excessive focus on hieroglyphics leaving little time to appreciate or pay much attention to the actual structures/temples/etc. A common comment I've encountered when researching visiting Egypt was to use guides as they provide context to what your viewing/seeing - however it felt like at times it swung too far in the other direction and was provided a lot of context and information about minutiae for something I didn't really get to see. Biggest concern was the papyrus/alabaster stores effectively being snuck into the itinerary - if they had been mentioned at any time prior I would not have booked at all or would have cancelled. Seems to be common to tours here as it was the 5th time I'd been in such places due to being snuck into other tours as well. On the last day, after barely sleeping for two nights I ended up leaving early before I completely lost my mind. I had heat stroke due to the the driver on the way back from Abu Simbel ignoring requests to turn up AC from an incredibly weak setting - combined with accidentally taking a bite of the chicken sandwich included in the breakfast box that I was assured would be vegetarian, was simply too much on top of everything else. Overall a highly disappointing, and overall miserable experience that was not remotely worth the cost. Severely soured my experience in Egypt.
