Amazing Tour Up the Nile! - Ahmed took me on an amazing tour up the Nile. I got lucky, in most of the cases it was a small group so I got a lot of personal attention during the tour. We saw all the highlights of the tour. Every temple, every monument, even the Nubian village. I got a chance to swim in the Nile near a beach where the locals were swimming (no one else I met had & yes, it was safe and clean). Kom Ombo, the Valley of Kings, and Philae Temples were gorgeous. So majestic. Hard to imagine them being built with old tools 1000s of years ago. The room in the boat was okay but the rooftop was great and I got some very scenic views of the river, the birds and the life around the banks. Ahmed was very nice and knowledgeable. He has clearly been in the business for a long time. I recommend this tour to anyone looking for a comfortable, good medium paced cruise on the Nile.
