Excellent Egypt Tour with receptive and superb guides. - I cant praise our guide Ahmed and Egypt Unlimited enough for the experience of our group of 6 friends and family in Sept 2022. They provided daily transportation in a very comfortable van with airport pick up in Aswan and drop off at Luxor airport. They took care of us the whole time we were on the ground. The best was that they planned an amazing itinerary that included a fellucca rude on the Nile with lunch,a visit to a real Nubian village with tea in the home of a village family, philae temple, the Luxor sites. We also drove from Aswan to Luxor through the quiet rural towns along the Nile which was refreshing and informative. Ahmed was very flexible with our requests for shopping stops, impromptu detours to visit the Real side of Egypt, not just the insulated tourist track. The owner Mohammed was always available by phone and supported the itinerary. Ahmed sometimes would stay with us late into the evening to support our desire to get a full experience. He accompanied us the whole time from Aswan to Luxor. He has extensive knowledge of Egyptian history and is proud to share this information. We left Egypt with more knowledge of this amazing country and was able to feel its spirit thanks to this company and guides. If you want to visit Egypt and have a truly fulfilling experience I recommend Egypt Unlimited and definitely Ahmed.

Best tour ever - The tour was excellent from start to finish. Starting from Aswan we visited every sightseeing described in the program and we added extra tours such as Abu Simbel, Nubian Village and hot air balloon. Mohammed was brilliant, very knowledgeable and he added many interesting stories to his explanation making the tours more fun and intriguing. Really recommended.

Mohammed Badawy made our trip effortless and was the best guide I’ve ever hired (out of 17 countries!) - There are so many great things to be said about hiring Mohammed as a private tour guide through Egypt. Overall the most important thing is that he made me feel safe, knew Egyptian history better than any book or podcast I had studied and he made our trip through Egypt completely effortless on our end. While touring with Mohammed each day he would organize every detail of our trip making it effortless for us - from the car, horse carriage, motorboat, feluca boat and all the entry tickets! He reminded us what time we needed to meet in the morning, arranged a wake up call to our room and if we left too early to make breakfast he even arranged breakfast boxes made for us! Picked up water for us and helped us navigate buying gifts for friends back home, helped us pick a fair tip price and at one point even loaned up Egyptian pounds until we could get to an ATM the next day. Like I said, he really made our trip effortless and it allowed us to really soak up the amazing experience of traveling through Egypt. We wanted to get to all the sights before others so we could get some amazing photos and Mohamed had no problem arranging that for us. He even allowed us to stop in the desert at 5am so we could get some sunrise photos. He really catered to our every need, even going as far as making sure to grab extra bottles of water at the end of our day for me since I drink an insane amount of water and arranging for us a car to take us to the airport the next morning after our tour with him was complete. What stood out about Mohammed compared to the other guides first was that he knew everyone! Later through talking with him I’ve learned that’s he’s been a guide since 2007, but it really helped that he was so well connected. Also that he really cared about us seeing the best sights, the most important hieroglyphics and getting the best photos. He studied hieroglyphics in university and knew so much that he was able to answer all our questions. He even went as far as rewarding me with 2 special bank notes for keeping up with the history over the week (I cheated and studied Egyptian history before my trip). He took some amazing photos of us too which was awesome since there was only two of us, we actually got photos together (and they were good not bad tourist photos haha)! Not only on our iPhones but also on our DSLR. He also cracked jokes with us and protected me from foreign visitors that wanted photos. Overall our experience was top notch with Mohammed. I’ve been to 17 countries and have had various levels of service/experiences with tours and Mohamed made my trip to Egypt - one that as an American I thought would be scary and hard to navigate- effortless and the most enjoyable so far. I had read on a lot of influencer blogs that it sometimes took them 2 days to book tours because of the language barrier which is sad because Mohamed had our entire trip planned so well, down to when we were going to eat! He even picked us up with a driver from the overnight train and started our tour immediately! It was AWESOME! The Nile River Cruise we booked as a package deal with a Mohammed as our Private tour guide was actually very impressive! As an American traveler I wasn’t really sure what I was getting myself into but the cruise was fantastic! More than anything else what was most impressive was that incredible level of professionalism and service other people on board. Every single time we had walked back in from my day excursion they greeted us telling us welcome to our second home and handing us a washrag. Private tour guide was actually very impressive! More than anything else what was most impressive was that incredible level of professionalism and service of the people on board. Every single time we had walked back in from my day excursion they greeted us telling us welcome to our second home and handing us a clean washrag (so nice!). As a super picky eater I assumed that I would starve most of the trip but the cruise actually had really good food! Plenty of vegetarian options if you are vegetarian, and they kept me, a very picky women, full the entire trip. I wish I had taken more photos of the actual cruise liner myself because it was a lot better than the photos that I had saw on TripAdvisor. Looking around at all of the other cruisers during our trip we definitely had one of the best ones. I would definitely recommend booking this in our river cruise to any of my friends or family. When I come back to visit someday and when any of my friends go to Egypt I will be telling them that they MUST hire Mohammed if they want to make the most of visiting Egypt. It was totally affordable compared to tours around Egypt (some totally ripping people off). He seriously made our trip incredible, I would give him 6/5 stars, seriously he went above and beyond 5/5.
