FES - AZROU - MIDELT - ZIZ VALLEY - MERZOUGA
Fes - Following breakfast, we will come to where you are staying to pick you up and then continue our journey to Merzouga through Midelt and Errachidia further to the south.
Ifrane - Your journey will begin in the city of Ifrane, also known as “the Switzerland of Morocco.” From there, you will continue on to Merzouga by way of Midelt and the Ziz Valley. Throughout the course of this excursion, you will have opportunities to catch sight of both the Middle Atlas and the Higher Atlas mountains. A stop will be made in the well-known cedar forest, which is Morocco’s largest, and it is here that you will get the opportunity to encounter Barbary apes.
Midelt - As you get closer to the province in the southeast, the city of Errachidia, you will notice that the landscape starts to shift, and you will begin to see signs of the desert. Following lunch in Midelt, you will continue your drive along the marvelous Ziz Valley, pausing often to take in the breathtaking vistas along the way.
Merzouga - We will travel by car via Berber villages to reach Erfoud, and then continue on to Rissani, which is the origin of the Alaouite dynasty and is home to Morocco’s current ruling royal family. When you get to Merzouga at the end of the day, you’ll be greeted with a glass of mint tea and then shown to your room at our riad (dinner and breakfast).

You will go on an excursion in the southern region of Morocco, drive from Fez to Marrakech by way of the Desert Merzouga, take a camel ride across the sand dunes, and visit some of the most popular tourist spots.
