Depart from Cape Town and travel to Knysna with stops in Swellendam and Mossel Bay
Swellendam - Swellendam is a 2 hour drive from Cape Town. We depart from Cape town at 8am and travel on the N2. The route is scenic as we pass Paarl and Worcester until we arrive in Swellendam. Swellendam connects the Overberg with the Garden Route and is an attractive town with the Koornlands River running through it. Beautifully historic sitting at the base of the Langeberg mountains near to the R62 Wine Route.
Wilderness - From Swellendam we proceed with our route mainly inland until we reach the beautiful seaside town on Wilderness.The Wilderness has beautiful beaches, the mountains, the sea, everything is there.
Knysna - We eventually reach Knysna. This is the centre of the Garden Route where we base ourselves for the next 3 days as we explore the Garden Route. We check into the Premier Resort The Moorings Knysna, or similar.
