Additional Information

Rwanda stands out as a truly unique destination in Eastern Africa. There’s great value in supporting community tourism as it foremost benefits the local communities and individual inhabitants rather than the state. Community tourism practices involve tourists staying with local hosts, particularly in regions that are economically underprivileged. Rwanda’s cultural tour is an example of this, where the local population ends up profiting directly from the tourism, improving their well-being in the community. This signifies that advancing community visits benefits both the tourism and service sector, along with local residents who earn their income as service providers. Currently, the primary focus is on developing affordable, high-quality accommodation to boost service standards and in turn, enhance the nation’s tourism sector.
