Best weekend, Safari - We went on this tour after our conference in Dar es Salaam We wanted a short Safari, and after a lot of searching online, we came across 3 similar trips. We settled for this one offered by Connect Safari because we really liked their good and timely communication. The safari itself was nice, we saw lots of animals in the park and the boat trip was comfortable and enjoyable. The only thing was the rains made it difficult to do a wkjng safari, so we skipped that part. The service from this team was 100% per cent with Sheryl, the manager handling our itinerary daily. Our guide 'Moody' was a top guy, with a big smile and calm at all times. He sported a leopard in a corner we would not have seen. He says he was a park ranger for 8 years before doing a tour guide. We found him very knowledgeable I would highly recommend this agency. They all showed a high level of integrity, and their service is super 👌

Fantastic wildlife trip - My boyfriend and I had a wonderful short Safari to Selous Game Reserve. The trip started in Dar Salaam with our driver picking us from the hotel along with Fransisca, who booked our tour. The road journey was a bit bumpy, and it took about 4 hours to get there. However, once we got to Selous, we really enjoyed everything The tented camp is very nice and the food was great. My boyfriend enjoyed the game drives in this big park so much. We saw lions and lots of elephants . What I liked about this trip was Connect African Safaris organisation and honest. Sheryl, the manager, was checking on us every day and made us feel safe all through the trip. The drop off to the ferry station was appreciated as we were travelling to Zanzibar Many thanks to the CAS team, and I recommend them for sure.

Beautiful experience in Tanzania with Connect Safaris - My girlfriend and I decided to take our first wildlife safari during our recent visit to Zanzibar. We really enjoyed the experience of seeing large animals close by, Elephants, giraffes, Zebras, lions, hippos, crocodiles and many more. The lodge was a nice surprise, very clean with running water. Our guide Appolo was so kind and very knowledgeable and took us to so many corners of the park. The Connect Safarus team made the booking process easy and straightforward and Halima our agent travelled with us and she was ready to assist throughout the 3 days. Sheryl at their offices was attentive and easy to communicate with. The price of the tour was also affordable to us. However, when we went the first day there was a lot rain and our boat Safari was delayed by rains, so we had a long and enjoyable lunch at the lodge while waiting.

A very memorable experience. - Connect African Safaris were very helpful during our trip planning, we were very nicely welcomed at the landing strip by our tour consultant Thecla and our guide and jeep driver, Apollo, who took us on a very interesting game drive. He is very knowledgeable and shared with us very interesting information in a very calm and pleasant manner. Following the drive, we arrived at our Tented Lodge for the night. The lodge was much nicer than we expected, very clean and nicely laid out. The food was good and staff were also very kind. The next morning before our safari drive to Dar Es Salam, we were offered a free river tour, followed by breakfast at the Lodge. At the end of our trip we were welcomed to our hotel booked by Connect African Safaris. There we had a lovely dinner with a great selection of international cuisine. Thank you for a lovely ending to our great trip to Tanzania.

Compact and extremely affordable safari trip full of impressive encounters with people, animals and nature - The three safari components (boat safari, day safari in a jeep, walking safari) complemented each other perfectly and contributed to an unforgettable experience. The accommodation at Nyerere Tented Camp exceeded our expectations. We are not talking about tents like you would find at a European campsite, but extremely solid, thick tent fabrics that were set up over a stable wooden structure one meter above the ground. So you don't have to worry about being surprised by night-time intruders. Should wild animals come by anyway, there is always an experienced night watchman, often a Masai, who controls the situation. On the first evening, for example, two buffalo came "for a visit" and ate near our tent. The night watchman checked the situation and was able to lure the buffalo away from our tent a little so that we could go back into the tent. The food in this camp is very good, the amount is absolutely sufficient and provides the necessary energy. The staff at Nyerere Tented are well trained, do a top professional job and are extremely attentive to their guests. In Nyerere National Park you can see hundreds of wild animals in one day, but not all of them are equally easy to find because the park is extremely large. Big cats, for example, are probably easier to find in the Serengeti. Rhinos are not actually found in this area. Our tour guide was only lucky enough to see one here 10 years ago. Elephants, giraffes and buffalo can be seen in large numbers, and with a bit of luck lions and leopards too. Of course there are countless other wild animals to see and the nature is overwhelmingly beautiful. There are two ways to get there: either by car from Dar es Salaam (theoretically also from Arusha, but it takes a long time). Be careful, the roads are not paved and therefore very bumpy. Or by small plane (runway directly at the entrance to the national park, about 15 minutes from Nyerere Tented Camp). We took a taxi from Dar es Salaam on the way there (approx. 3 hours) and then took a plane to Zanzibar. Finally, we would like to say a big thank you to Halima, who organized our tour so well. She was with us the whole time and made sure we were happy and enjoyed the safari to the fullest. She was always attentive, professional and extremely friendly. I'm sure the other employees at Connected African Safaris are also very good, but we can highly recommend Halima. Many thanks to Halima and Connected African Safari!

Selous/Nyerere game drive ! - Such a nice experience ! The most is the day of the game drive to see the animals in the reserve. Spectacular ! We saw all animals and the landscapes are incredible ! The guide and the driver were very professional, and knew perfectly the reserve and the small roads. We were most of time alone (without other 4x4) so it was incredible. Sheryl was so kind and very professional as well, such a nice person ! We recommend 100% Connect African Safari ! Thank you Sheryl !
