Highlights

Harran Village - Gobeklitepe - Balıklıgöl - Sanliurfa - Adıyaman

Harran Ruins - Harran Ruins likely refer to the traditional houses found in Harran, a historic city in southeastern Turkey. These houses are renowned for their unique architecture, characterized by conical roofs made from mud and straw. The design is not only visually striking but also practical, as the thick walls and insulating properties of the materials help regulate indoor temperatures in the extreme climate of the region. The use of locally available materials and the specific construction techniques used in these houses reflect the deep connection between architecture and the environment.

Potbelly Hill - Göbekli Tepe is an archaeological site located in southeastern Turkey, near the city of Şanlıurfa. It’s often referred to as one of the world’s oldest known temples or ceremonial sites. What makes Göbekli Tepe fascinating is its age; it dates back to around 9600 BCE, which places it even before the advent of agriculture. The site consists of multiple circular structures with large T-shaped stone pillars intricately carved with various animal depictions and symbols. It’s believed that these pillars held spiritual or religious significance for the people who constructed the site. Göbekli Tepe challenges our understanding of prehistoric societies and their capabilities, suggesting that complex communal activities were taking place much earlier than previously thought.

Balikligol - Balıklıgöl, also known as the “Pool of Sacred Fish,” is a historical and religious site located in Şanlıurfa, Turkey. It holds significance in various religious and cultural traditions. According to local legend, this pool is believed to be the place where the prophet Abraham (Ibrahim in Islamic tradition) was thrown into the fire by King Nimrod, only to be saved by divine intervention.

The pool is home to hundreds of sacred carp fish, and feeding them is considered a symbolic act with religious and cultural connotations. Visitors often enjoy observing and feeding the fish while exploring the area’s rich history and the nearby attractions, like the historical bazaar and the Göbekli Tepe archaeological site. Balıklıgöl remains an important pilgrimage site for many, drawing people from different backgrounds to its spiritual and serene atmosphere.

Mount Nemrut - Heading to our one-story stone hotel by Mount Nemrut—day’s end. Ancient paths, whispers of history. The hotel’s history-laden walls welcome. Amidst stars, excitement for tomorrow’s summit, dreams of sunrise.

Amazing experience of Gobekletepe and Eastern Turkey - An amazing experience of a lifetime. Turgut of Blue Bosphorus arranged an amazing trip for me. My guide and friend Sadun Karli was simply amazing. He went out of his way to give me a time of my life. In addition to the scheduled places he took me to some additional places like Karahantepe, Bazda caves, Han el Barur Kervansaray, Syrian border, Perre and other places. Sanliurfa, Gobekletepe, Karahantepe, Nemrut hills were all absolutely mind blowing. I should also thank Sadun for taking me to the top of Nemrut hills among slippery snow. It was an amazing experience. My thanks to Sadun and Turgut. Thank you guys, you are truly wonderful.

Amazing service and scheduling method - It is surprising that the service starts and continues smoothly as soon as I purchase the tour online and just land at the airport. The region has not progressed in terms of tourism, but this tour company has been maintaining the professionalism of serving there for years.
