Iximché Archeological Site

Guatemala City - We´ll start this adventurous tour by picking you up in your hotel lobby at 7:00 am. We will make a comfort stop on the road. Then, we´ll continue our way to Iximché Archeological Site.

Iximché - Discover the history of this ancient Mesoamerican city. Later on, we are going to do a short tour of the museum, and then a walking tour inside the archeological site. At the same time, we can appreciate the Mayan ceremonies that still take place in this sacred site.

Panajachel - After lunch, we’ll move to Panajachel, the main city of Atitlan’s lake where we’ll get stunning views of the volcanoes where you’ll have free time to wander around.
Getting to Panajachel will be a 2-hour trip and then we´ll explore this wonderful town and give you free time.

The local Mayans say that Lake Atitlan holds unique energy fields that run through the area. Whether you feel the vibes or not, there’s no denying a lake is a special place.
You’ll learn the day by day of the locals and the many chores and artisan products they make, from natural dying, herbal uses, chocolate procedures to painting techniques. In the end, we’ll see the adventure face of the lake by going to a Natural Reserve that holds the longest Canopy of Guatemala, enjoy its walking trails, lagoon beaches, and butterfly domes.
