Tour of Mombasa - I mostly had a good time on this tour. I found the tour offering on TripAdvisor and didn't know any of the people involved before this but they did a good job with coordinating it. The company handled all transport arrangements from Nairobi to Mombasa and back to Nairobi. They also took care of my accommodation while in Mombasa and all these were part of the bill. I made my way to the Nairobi SGR Terminus on the first day and someone was already waiting with my train ticket to Mombasa. I was picked up at the Mombasa Terminus and dropped off at my hotel. On the first two days, I went on a tour of Mombasa - Fort Jesus, Old town, Haller Park, Spice Market, and the Swaminarayan Temple in Mombasa. The tour guide who doubled as a photographer, Eric, knew a lot about these places and did a good job with sharing the information. There was breakfast at the hotel and the guides paid for lunch and dinner on these two days. Itineraries changed and I went on a tour of Wasini on the third day instead of the second. I checked out of the hotel and the hotel held my bags until I returned because that was my last day in Mombasa. I was picked up at the hotel early in the morning by another tour company in charge of that. We drove to the Marine Park and went on a boat ride, snorkeling, scuba diving (Not included in the fee. I had to pay $50 separately for this), dolphin watching and had lunch in Wasini. This was a full day of activities and I was dropped in front of my hotel at the end of the day. I was taken to the bus park by the guide and had to take the night bus from Mombasa back to Nairobi at 10pm on that same day instead of the planned train because of the changed itineraries. No dinner was provided and the bus was comfortable but the roads were really bumpy.
