Mikumi is especially known for its substantial buffalo population. These largest members of the antelope family create a captivating scene while foraging in the expansive fields. With more than 400 bird species present, the park is also a haven for bird enthusiasts. You can also find big cats like lions and leopards in the park.

Mikumi National Park - Our accredited guide will meet you at pick up point and he will drive you to Mikumi national park via Morogoro.
Following breakfast, we leave Dar es salaam for our first stop at Mikumi National Park a 6 hours drive from Dar via Morogoro Refreshments and light snacks will be provided en-route.
We will arrive in Mikumi national park at 1:00 pm. This often allows one to see the animals at rest, seeking shelter from the unrelenting heat under the branches of large trees.
A leisurely lunch will be served inside the park. The remainder of the day will be spent inside the park.
The day concludes with checking into the Park cottages and a brief rest before leaving for an afternoon game drive until sunset
We return to the cottages where dinner awaits us at the restaurant between 7:00 and 8:30 p.m.
