Don’t miss Corfu, we loved it - We had an absolutely wonderful vacation on Corfu Island this October 2022. We rented a Fiat Panda to navigate the narrow village streets yet still smooth enough for the regular roads. Cosmos rental is only 500 meters from the airport and you get picked up by their shuttle and get taken care of in 10 minutes and your out on the road. We rented Airbnb’s in Paleokastritsa and Benitses for a perfect launch point to adventure on the entire island. We recommend Glyfada, Pelekas and Agios Giorgios beaches for the sandy beach and no rocks or pebbles in the water. Tge double bay hike in Timoni beach is a must do but wear runners as it’s a rocky trek. The view from 250 meters high on the trail is to die for! We swam on both sides of double bay beaches or as 1 side is also known as “ Pirates Beach” If your looking for the cheapest accommodation and food on the island, head to Kavos on the southern most tip of Corfu. English breakfast, eggs, bacon , toast and coffee for 2.80 euros and you can watch most English football matches on Saturday mornings. Bonus fir you soccer lovers as Kavos is a Brit stronghold on the island. Quick point, the Beach in Kavos is not worthy for a dip. Ok we did so much more, like Kaiser’s throne, Corfu town with its Venitian architecture and the monasteries and churches, which are always interesting. The food in the Tavernas was excellent every time. Reasonable and delicious Greek dishes. We lived Corfu and will come back. Oh yes the rental for the car was $119 euro all in for a full 7?days and great people to deal with. No issues. Cheers Michael and Marina

Spiros Theodolores of Private Tours Greece is the best driver! Would highly recommend requesting him as your driver!! - Our driver Spiros Theodoleros made our very long & comprehensive visit provided by Private Tours Greece enjoyable & fulfilling. The tour company arranged everything which made visiting key places in Greece convenient (for a trip this long, planning it in our own would’ve been a difficult task!) and Spiros, not only provided the transport, but handled any issues that came up along the way. All said and done, Private Tours provided a great tour, and is especially lucky to have Spiros on their staff. If you are looking to visit Greece on an organized tour, Private Tours is a good option, and Spiros is an excellent driver!
