Manjanggul Cave - Manjanggul Cave is registered as a World Natural Heritage Site. The total length is 7,400 meters, and the section that can be explored is 1 kilometer. It is a cave created by flowing lava.
Manjanggul Cave is a lava tube-like cave that flows from high to low due to volcanic eruptions called Geomunoreum near Hallasan Mountain. As the surface and floor cool down quickly, the surface hardens and hot magma flows like a tube. It takes about 1 hour to go down the underground There is also a puddle with water, so you have to be careful about walking, and there is an English explanation everywhere you go until the stone pillar comes out 1km. After the cave was made like a tube, the lava flowed down from the hole in the ceiling and hardened, forming a long stone pillar like a tower.
Manjanggul Cave is closed on the first Wednesday of every month, and the entrance deadline is 17:00, so you have to arrive at the parking lot by 16:50
