The journey presents an ideal opportunity for you to familiarize yourself with the Sahara Desert’s surroundings. You’ll have the chance to overnight in traditional nomad tents, journey on camelback, and safely immerse yourself in the untamed, age-old Sahara. This excursion spans a duration of two days.
Marrakech
Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou - On the first day, you will start your journey in Marrakech, then on to Ouarzazate before heading to Ait Benhaddou (over 20 films have filmed their scenery here) and then to Zagora. During your travels, you will pass through many Berber villages, and once you are in the desert, riverside oases and barren hillsides, clustered with Kasbahs (fortified dwellings that house many families and their livestock). When you arrive in Zagora, you will meet the camels and guides before heading out into the wilderness to spend the night in the dunes.
Zagora - Marrakech
Zagora Desert Camp - Upon waking up and finishing your breakfast, you all head to Zagora for the drive back to Marrakech.
