Over there you will take a van for around 60 minutes until you reach a place called Paraná do Mamori where you will take the second speed boat to go to “JUMA LAKE LODGE” which is the name of the lodge where you will be staying in this 2 days and 1 night. Arrival at 11h00, see the accommodations, have lunch and after lunch you start the activities going for a canoe tour for dolphin observation. Back to the lodge for dinner and after dinner, again by canoe you will go for the Cayman spotting where the guide will show you some big Caymans and explain a little bit about them to you. You can take pictures if you want to. Back to the lodge and overnight.

Second Day

Manaus - 2nd day – Early in the morning, before breakfast, you will see the sunrise and do a bird watch tour, back to the lodge for breakfast and after the breakfast you will do an ecological jungle trekking from 08h00 to 11h00 where the guide will explain all about medicinal plants, some techniques of survival in the jungle and animals that you can see during the track like spiders, and different kind of monkeys, sloths etc.. 11/10! Exceded our expectations - This tour surpassed our expectations! It’s a perfect level of easy and challenging. The guides and drivers, etc were all so nice and knowledgable. The lodgings where perfect. Good balance of comfortable but still rustic. Our guide (Jungle James) was super knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Also, the food was so good!! 11/10

Best ecological clean tour in Amazon - I stayed at the lodge for 2 nights in May. During the stay I went through many activities as trecking the jungle, kayaking, fishing piranhas, watching alligators and macacão. I imagined walking through the jungle is humid and hard but actually climate in Amazon is dry and easy to stay. The water in Amazon is acid called black water, witch no mosquito can grow or hatch, that makes my activities and stay more comfortable. Only in the rain water mosquito can be hatched. I am from outside Brazil, living metropolitan city, and surprisingly found that Jungle stay is important and priceless experience. In spite of hard pandemic time, it is worth visiting and learn how magnificent the Amazon rainforest and living with great nature!

Wonderful experience in Amazon jungle - I went for fishing, Caymon spotting in the night, jungle walk, saw some of the birds and animals during the boat ride and swimming in the river. But did not see pink dolphins as mentioned in the itinerary; I stayed in Ipanema lodge instead of Juma lake lodge. Food was good. Overall, it was a good experience and I really enjoyed it.

Good but not to organize - I contacted this agency via Whatsapp to book 2D1N at Ipanema Lodge + ayahuasca ceremony and the communication was very scarce and little. I had many doubts before making my reservation given their poor attention to detail. On the day of my activity they were late for me and communication was still very poor. Once the experience began, everything was amazing. To be honest, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the jungle. The guide David and Ever were super nice and I really appreciate that they take care of nature, respect it and teach us about its wonders. The stay is very modest, don't expect an amazing hotel...live and enjoy that you are in the middle of the Amazon and you have a roof to sleep under. Meals are sufficient and fully covered. Be prepared for plans to change as weather, light and jungle conditions can change itineraries. On my return after my stay in the jungle I had to cancel the ayahuasca ceremony because the organization and lack of seriousness that the agency gave to this activity was terrible, they had scheduled me for another day, they did not know how to give me the instructions to prepare me to do the ritual, they did not know who was going to pick me up, they did not know how many people would do it. I asked for my refund and they told me they would not do it...even taking into account that the times they coordinated themselves did not allow me to arrive on time for the ceremony. That bothered me a lot but I decided to keep the good experience in the middle of the Amazon. If you want to do activities with this agency, I recommend that you go for the adventure without stressing about the itinerary, schedules or conditions and just live it. They are good but not to organize

Okay, but room for improvement - The Amazon rainforest is an amazing place, but the tour could have been a lot better. Firstly, the pickup was highly disorganised. I was told to wait in the hotel lobby between 8-8.30am. Finally an everyday unmarked car came at 9.10am with 2 people who didn’t speak English, and told me to get in. This was a bit unnerving as a solo traveller as I had no idea where I was going or how long we would be driving for. The rest of the journey was slightly better as we met English-speaking guides at the port, who told us what to expect from them on. The lodge is nice, clean, very beautiful and comfortable. The food was okay but always the same - rice, spaghetti, beans, salad and meat/fish. Okay for a couple of days but not much fresh vegetables or variety in general. Often not enough was cooked either, especially when a large group arrived- you’d think they’d increase portions based on number of guests, but that didn’t really happen. The most disappointing part was that tour description said we would do an early morning bird watching tour and then a jungle trek, neither of which happened. We just did yet another boat trip and didn’t see much wildlife or learn about plants, animals or birds etc. as promised. Overall I saw sloths, monkeys, iguana, alligators and a few other birds- but I was hoping to see more and explore the jungle by foot, as I expected (everything was by boat). The staff were mostly friendly and welcoming and I enjoyed the trip overall, but it could have been significantly improved.
