Day 1: Amman - Petra: 3 hours driving from Amman\n\nPetra - Depart to the south toward the Nabatean Red Rose City of Petra that is considered one of the wonders of the world. A city 139 miles (225 kilometers) from Amman that was carved in stone more than 2000 years ago in order to dominate the trade routes of ancient Arabia. Visit its towns, damns, and water channels and enjoy a walk along the narrow siq, a path which is the main entrance to the city. The first thing you will see is the Khazneh, which was believed to be a tomp for one of the Nabatean Kings. In the afternoon you will move towards Wadi Rum, called the valley of moon, where the movie Lawrence of Arabia was filmed and lately The Martian. You will spend the night in a Bedouin camp inside Rum reserve, in a very unique calm and quiet spot whilst having dinner cooked according to Bedouin style and evening activities (The camp consist of Tents, with beds, blankets , Toilets, dining room - all necessaries for life including electricity via solar system).\n\n### Wadi Rum - Amman\n\nWadi Rum Protected Area - After breakfast you will start a 4x4 Jeep tour at Wadi Rum for 3 hours (Local Bedoiune cars). Wadi Rum is a uniquely-shaped massive mountain that rose among the rosy red sand of the desert with towering cliffs of various brownish, reddish and golden colors. Then, you will move back to Amman.\n\nPlease note: Spending the night at Rum might be switched to a lodge (Bait Ali) instead of Bedouin camp during winter time and according to weather conditions (option to choose a heated chalet would be possible for extra charges).

An amazing two-day trip!... - An amazing two-day trip! Petra, a rock-curved city, is a unique place and we were at awe with the ingenious way the ancient Nabateans made the place, the red colors of the rocks and the serenity around.
Wadi rum is a life time experience in its own. The high rocks with the many colors and the red sand of the desert around you feels as if you have landed on an extraterrestrial place . Spending the night at the camp at the desert is a unique experience. It is as if the world has stopped just for a while . We enjoyed how quiet it was and we can still remember the amazing sunset and the morning dawn the following day. We would easily stay another night . The local people are so friendly (like all Jordanians) and kind. We enjoyed a delicious dinner with local dishes, cooked in the traditional bédouine way. Our guide, Murad, was very enthusiastic and ready to explain and make the most of our experience.

Excellent and Safe experience - I had a fantastic experience traveling with Jordan Private. My driver and guide was Mohammed Ali, who was excellent. He was very punctual, kind, helpful and knowledgeable. I was initially hesitant traveling in Jordan as a solo female traveler, but I felt very safe throughout the entire trip thanks to Mohammed and saw the most beautiful sites— including a complete hike through Petra, a sunset jeep tour of Wadi Rum with an overnight stay and a trip to the Dead Sea with several stops along the way. If you happen to use this company, do ask for Mohammed Ali as your guide!

Amazing experience - We had an amazing experience - Petra is definitely worth visiting for everybody one day. Wadi Rum is unreally beautiful, especially in the morning. Special thanks to our driver - Khader Dawood, he gave us a lot of extra information and helped us out with pointing out extra stops - for food and nice views.

Exceeded expectations! - We had an amazing experience! I was a little skeptical at first, not being very adventurous and outdoorsy, but we had a good time, food was great at all stops and at the desert camp. Our guide Khaled was amazing and very helpful and would stop along the way, show us different sites, talk about the importance/facts, and take pictures of us.

Wonderful experience in Jordan - It is amazing to walk around the geological natural display of Petra. However, it was exhausting to walk under a middle day sun. Wadi Rum was more enjoyable due to the activity and the time it was scheduled. The camp was beautiful, great food and facilities.

Great Experience - My husband and I had an absolutely amazing experience with this tour. To start, the communication was very prompt and helpful -- I had a lot of questions beforehand and they were contactable via email and Whatsapp.
Our driver, Sam, was incredibly friendly and communicative as well. His car was clean and comfortable and he made sure to stop at plenty of reststops on the long drives to Wadi Rum and Petra.
The tour once we got to Wadi Rum was phenomenal. So much better than we were expecting! It was 3 hours, but we did not sit in the car the whole time. Our driver took us to many popular and also more private spots for amazing views and sights and so we had plenty of opportunity to explore a bit at our own pace. I will say, it is lucky we are in decent shape as it was a lot of climbing and hiking uphill!
The stay in the camp was magical and also really well organised. We booked a Deluxe tent and it exceeded expectations for amenities and comfort! We then went to Petra the next day and we had a wonderful time - we opted not to do the guided tour.

Great 2 day experience! - We had an excellent time on this tour!
Guide Khaled Shabso was very helpful and sociable and we had a good time on the long hour drives. He was also flexible with the times allowing us to enjoy sightseeing at our leisure.
I heartily recommend this tour if you want to get a great experience in Jordan but do not have a lot of days to enjoy it.
We will definitely be coming back to Jordan for a longer tour in the future!

Memories that will last a lifetime - We have had an absolutely amazing time. This trip is once in a lifetime experience, from Start to finish we have been looked after really well by our driver khaled Jan. The whole 3 days have been action packed. We have loved every minute and we are going to recommend this to all our friends and family.
