Ancient City of Pingyao - You will be picked up from your hotel in Xi’an by a driver and transferred to Xi’an North Railway Station to catch express train to Pingyao Gucheng (approx. 3-hour ride). Upon arrival your guide will meet you at the exit and transfer to the local guesthouse located in the old town of Pingyao. You can choose to sleep on the Chinese traditional bed Kang and taste local beef and noodles. After lunch you will tour the Old City Wall and financial institutions. For dinner your guide can introduce some local restaurants for you to try some authentic Shaanxi cuisine. Stay overnight in Pingyao.
