Highlights

Johannesburg - Kruger National Park

Johannesburg - Our Safari starts with a pick up from Johannesburg hotels or the airport. We will embark on a road trip to Hazy View Mpumalanga for our accommodation before starting our safari in the afternoon at the Kruger National Park

Kruger National Park - Our first Kruger Safari starts at around 2 pm. We will explore this famous park for the next 3 hours looking for the BIG 5 and a host of other animals. We will stop at the water holes to see if we can catch the animals doing their routine water drinking turns. We will also make sure we keep our eye on the bush for those cats that like hiding.

Kruger National Park - Johannesburg

Kruger National Park - We will rise up nice and early and embark on our Morning Kruger safari. Our Trip will see us begin at 5.30 am so that we can get inside the Park by 6.00 am. This is normally the best time to catch a glimpse of the best of wild life. The cats coming from their hunting chores and the hyenas coming from scavenging roles. We will also observe the Africa sunrise - a moment not to be missed. We will have our pre-packed breakfast at Skukukuza camp. After a thrilling 4-hour morning safari we will start embarking on our way back to Johannesburg.

Johannesburg - Our trip to Johannesburg will take us about 4 hours and we will stop at Belfast for Lunch. Later we will drop you off at Johannesburg Airport or Johannesburg hotels around 4 pm and wrap up our tour in style.

Could not have asked for a better experience! - This was a great experience from start to finish! Our driver (Tabu) picked us up from our hotel in Johannesburg. I was kind and informative for the drive all the way to Krueger. He stayed the night to drive us back the next day and even drove us to a place to get dinner that night. The safari was everything we could have asked for. Our guide was a wealth of knowledge, personable and a great person to be around. He really went above and beyond to make sure we were able to see as many animals as we could. I would highly recommend this tour company!

Great Value - Me and 4 work friends done this trip, right from the start our driver was very friendly & accommodating. The journey from joberg didn’t feel like 4/5 hours, it was nice and quick & when stopping for food we were giving the option of Spur, Nando’s etc. The Safari itself was great; the 1st Tourguide we had wasn’t as helpful as the 2nd one, Given was very informative and was a very experienced driver, although I’m not sure on the rotation of the safari drivers as I think they’re supplied by the Safari itself. The accommodation was very sufficient and we had the freedom of using the food hall for drinks after dinner which was also delicious. One major aspect that shows the integrity of the company supplying this trip, is that when coming home on Sunday, I had left my battery pack charger in the Van, the next day I was contacted and they informed me that I had left it as I hadn’t realised it was gone, they very kindly returned the battery pack to my hotel while I was working. Overall I would give the trip a 9/10, the only thing I would say is that I wish I had booked a 3/4 day tour ! If you are looking to do this over a weekend ( which we were ) it is the perfect option here on Viator

One of a Kind - Everything was seamless from transportation to/from Kruger and lodging to safari rides and food. Our safari guide, Given, was extremely friendly and explained everything we saw out on the reserve. Our drivers to and from Kruger were super friendly and tended to our needs in terms of stops for food, bathroom and other accommodation. The staff at our lodge was extremely welcoming and friendly. This is an excellent event if you want a quick trip from Johannesburg!

Great company! - Had a fabulous time. The driver from Johannesburg to the accommodation (Nic) was a wealth of knowledge and very easy to talk to. It was a pleasure chatting with him and hearing his stories. The guide in Kruger National Park was also great (name escapes me). He made every effort to ensure success of the tour, and to give me the best possible chance of seeing the big 5 (obviously it’s a gamble). He was also just a fun character, and kept checking in on me.

Krueger park safari - Nic who picked us up at the hotel was a wealth of information from history of South Africa to the animals at Krueger national park. He was courteous, knowledgeable and a very good driver. Gives at the lodge tried his hardest and we got to see the big 4. Strongly recommend

Wonderful from pick up to drop off - This was such a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Our driver Nic was so much fun to talk to that he made the long drive seem effortless. He made sure we were always comfortable and taught us a lot of stuff about South Africa. Our Safari driver Given was awesome, he is friends with everyone and knew how to find the animals and prioritized which ones we were the most interested in. We got all but the rhino in the big 5 and we got the added bonus of hyenas and a herd of sable! He also stopped to show us the little animals we would have never seen and told us so many facts about everything. He was easy going and fun which was exactly what we wanted. The lodge we stayed in was so nice and the food was great too. 100% recommend this tour to everyone.

Highly Recommended - We had a great experience since the beginning. Our driver, Nick, was very knowledgeable and friendly. No matter what question we tossed at him, he had the right response. The lodge, Umbhaba was fantastic. Very comfortable, great food, great accommodations, and great personnel. At the Kruger Park, we saw zebras, giraffes, elephants, buffalos, impalas, wildebeests, warthogs, hyenas, etc. We also saw lions and rhinos, but from a distance. Our tour there, Givens, tried hard to find them, but we didn't have much luck. However, we saw plenty of other animals and they were very close to the car.

Brilliant - First of all of all i would like to express my gratitude to organizers of this trip. I made a booking last night before the trip and didnt have a clarity about pickup (my mistake). The team showed flexibility and client approach to organize the pickup and delivery of my sleeping body to the place :)) Accommodation was superb, very nice place, excellent meals, piece of nature. Dont expect that you will see all the animals, ira a matter of luck, like a fishing, just enjoy the nature and unify with it. Our drivers was very professional , from the pickup at the hotel (very smooth, we spent 5 hours driving) and park guide Given ; he knows a lot about the animals, park itself and more and more. Strongly recommend this tour ! And the price ;)

All was perfect! - Very well organised. Nick was great - very knowledgeable, gave really good overview of history, culture, nature as we show to Kruger. It is a long ride from Johannesburg and Nick made the time fly by. I would really recommend him as a guide. Given was my safari guide and also was great. He seemed more upset about not seeing lions than me :D but it’s nature so you can’t expect animals to come and parade on demand. He really tried though to find them and also gave amazing explanation about flora and fauna. My only feedback is to the main office - please confirm with your guests a day before the pickup time. I had to call them up on the day to make sure they are coming at 7am and not earlier or later. They also messed up a pick up for a couple who has already done the experience- which was great for me as it ended to be a private tour for me but if you send a confirmation and time pick up email / message the night before you can a pins these type of situation. Other than that all was really good and I would highly recommend them! The lodge o we night was really lovely as well with very good food selection for dinner.

Krüger 2 day safari is worth it! Embrace this experience. - Seeing the lions up so very close! The massive elephants with their big ears. My guide Given was exceptional. He’s very familiar with the park environs, the animals and has lots of information to share.
