Ancient Egypt - Trip of a Lifetime - I have always wanted to see Egypt and as many ancient sites as I could. This trip did not disappoint. I saw everything I wanted plus more. It started with the Step Pyramid in Saqqarah and Pyramids of Giza, then a few fabulous nights along the Red Sea in Hurghada (a New Year's Eve celebration I'll never forget), on to Luxor and Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, and the Valley of the Kings that started with a hot air balloon ride at sunrise. We took a scenic ride down the Nile River to Kom Ombo temple and the crocodile museum. The next day we went to Abu Simbel and saw some of the most incredible (and very tall) statues of ancient pharaohs and gods and goddesses. I absolutely had the time of my life. Memorable Egyptian vacation - We booked our family vacation through Luxor Private Tour. Ashraf and his team did a wonderful job ensuring we were able to visit all the places on our bucket list , taste local food , even visit local spice shop . Among the guides , Mr. Mohammad who accompanied us during our two days in Luxor is excellent . He is so passionate about sharing Egyptian culture and history .If you are visiting Luxor , please request for him Mr. Mohammad Aziz in Cairo was also very nice . We were able to taste local Egyptian food , visit local bazaara, visit great monuments in Cairo , Luxor , Abu Simbel . Even though we only had 6 full days we visited a lot if places thanks to Ashraf and his team . The airport pick up , visa assitance were so smooth . I recommend Mr. Ashraf and his team for any of your Egyptian vacations very highly . The vehicles were clean , air conditioned , the guides spoke great English . One of the guides Ammena even took us to a local breakfast place to pick up some local Egyptian breakfast in Aswan and that was so tasty . Kids were able to but some soveniers with the help of Mr. Mohammad in Luxor . Luxor Private tour is the best . Mr. Ashraf kept checking on us regularly and was very accomodative for our needs . Amazing Family Holiday - We travelled with our 3 children who are all in their late teens/ early twenties. We were looking for a stress free holiday and had a wish list of places we really wanted to visit. Ash arranged a perfect itinerary and all travel arrangements went really smoothly . The guides were absolutely superb as were all the recommendations from Ash and his team for local cuisine. The hotels and river cruise were terrific. We also added some time in Hurghada onto the end of our trip which was no trouble at all and the hotel Ash chose really took into account the dynamics of our family. Nothing was too much trouble for Ash and his team who responded quickly to all queries. Would definitely recommend.
