Highlights
- Dhampus - At 7:30 am, following their morning meal at the hotel, we gather the trekkers and embark on a drive to Kande, which is approximately an hour away from Pokhara. The hike commences at Kande, led by an expert guide, and proceeds to Austrian Camp, a journey of about 1.5 hours. The trail to Austrian Camp is quite manageable and ideal for novice hikers. This spot offers a stunning view of the Annapurna Himalayan range, which can be enjoyed over a cup of tea or coffee. Subsequently, we continue for an hour to the picturesque village of Dhampus. Dhampus is inhabited by various ethnic communities such as Gurung, Magar, and Brahmin, each with unique cultural practices and lifestyles. An organic lunch is served in Dhampus Village. Post-lunch, we hike for another 1.5 hours towards Phedi. A private vehicle will then transport you back to your accommodation at Lakeside.

Australian Camp and dhampus Village Trek! - Must do this hike if you are at Pokhara! Amazing views of mountains and forest! Lots of Rhododendron flowers on your trail towards Khade village! You pass through few villages and have the chance to interact with local people! Amazing Thukpa at australian camp for lunch!
Must try if you are with family and its a must do experience if not a base camp trek if you are in nepal!

Best agency in town - We were so lucky to find this agency.
Ben was more than welcoming, we felt he was really taking care of us.
Plus, he was absolutely not trying to put higher prices than it should be.
