Fantastic round trip - We had an amazing week driving with Dilshan Wijethunga. A fantastic Tour with a great guide who knew all the spots to see. We also got a lot of side information while driving. Would definitely recommend 👍

Sri Lanka a piece of paradise - We have been on the most amazing holiday in Sri Lanka, Our guide Chanuka Weerasinghe was excellent and made our trip around Sri Lanka absolutely perfect. He did everything he was supposed to and more. We really felt that we got to see and tell a lot, where both the history and experiences were top notch. We would definitely recommend a trip to Sri Lanka, they have so much to offer, the Sri Lankan people are so welcoming, smiling and helpful, and the nature is fantastic and very beautiful and if you need a guide on the trip, Chanuka gets 10 stars out of 10;-) from us.

Great trip! - I booked an 8 day trip recently (April 2024) with Mahaveli Tours and had a great experience. From the outset there was clear email communication from the Mahaveli team, who provided us with a customised itinerary catering to our budget and chosen key locations (multi-city trip) within Sri Lanka. Our guide was Theekshana who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the sites that we saw and also kindly provided plenty recommendations for local shopping areas and suggested cafes/restaurants etc. Theekshana also went above and beyond to ensure that we were always happy on our trip. Thanks to Mahaweli’s assistance we were able to make the most of our limited time in Sri Lanka and experience the wonderful culture of the country. Due to our very positive experience, we have already been referring Mahaveli Tours (and Theekshana) to our friends and families. We hope to return to Sri Lanka soon and will be happy to book with Mahaveli Tours again.

Comprehensive tour of the key sights - Prasad and the team were expressly accommodating to our last minute booking and even altered some tour details so we could maximise our time which was greatly appreciated. We met our tour guide Dushan on the morning of our tour. Dushan was a delight throughout the tour, very friendly and offering tidbits of information about the cities and sights. He was very quick to point out exotic animals and photo opportunities along the drive. We had to change/skip a couple of itinerary items due to illness and it was never a problem. Dushan was always punctual and accommodating to our sometimes last minute changes. He even arranged a cake on my birthday which was such a lovely gesture that I really appreciated.

Amazing Sri Lanka - Fantastic country that offers a lot of exciting experiences and with a guide you get a perfect insight into the country's history. During the week we were here, we got around and saw a lot and experienced an incredible amount. Mahaweli Travel, who guided us around, was ready and up to speed on all the suggestions we made and helped make the experience fantastic.

Sri Lanka is amazing! - Very well-functioning trip on this fantastically beautiful island. Got to experience and see a lot. Had the very nice, accommodating and responsive driver Sunil who told and showed things during our first eight days. We have also generally been very satisfied with the hotels we stayed at, the food as well. Recommend this trip for those who want to discover parts of Sri Lanka. It's also nice to end the stay with a few days of beach vacation.
