Surprising beauty of Oman near Salalah. - Beautiful places and beaches, amazing viewpoints! Thanks to Hamid, our competent and friendly guide. We spent a full day walking on white sand beaches, spotting wandering camels (even on the route), observing incredible rock formations, bathing in the sunlight, breathing fresh sea air ... and a lot more!

Frankincense trees and pristine beaches: an experience of a lifetime! - To the west of Salalah there are wonderful beaches. They are untouched and truly breathtakingly beautiful. There is hardly any human life around here, mostly camels. But with them everywhere. They band together even on the road, not bothered by the little traffic. I can't single out anything that was the most beautiful on this tour, because everything was breathtakingly beautiful. Starting from the wild, oceanic panorama from the Eftliqout cliff, to the atmosphere of the valley of incense trees reminiscent of biblical times. Mughsail beach is very interesting, with its rock formations caused by waves and its special fountains. You have to experience this personally, it can't describe it in words! We were here during the dry season, when there are hardly any tourists. So we could admire alone the magical rock formations carved out by the water over thousands of years. The highlight of the day was swimming at Fazajah beach. This bay is a completely untouched beach, far from inhabited areas, where you can bathe in the water without forgetting. The attentiveness of our guide, Hamed, extended to the fact that while we bathed in the water, he made us a delicious, local red tea, which we enjoyed in the rays of the setting sun. It's been a long time since I've had such a romantic experience! The preparedness and attentiveness of our guide made this excursion a life-changing experience. If you want to have a very personal, very unique experience, then choose Hamed! You won't be disappointed.

The Scenic West - We had a very pleasant experience touring the beautiful sights. Our guide Hamid made it very enjoyable with his awareness of history and the local traditions.

Hamid was excellent! Locations are fascinating! - We really enjoyed the trip. Mainly because our our guide, Hamid. He was knowledgeable and hospitable. Also a good chat companion and told us a lot of interesting things. Note that best time to come here is September/beginning of October. Before that, there’s a rain season, after everything turns yellow so won’t be much greenery around. Trip was a total of 7 hours, so not too rough. I also personally suggest to start a bit later so that you get to Shaat by sunset time. We started at noon time and the timing was ideal. Also check the weather prior to booking, as the most could spoil things a bit for you :)

Hamed is excellent - Hamed is exceptionally well-informed and has wonderful historical stories that will add to the beautiful scenery! He’s kind and has a beautiful sense of humour. The trip takes you to beautiful spots and is highly recommended.

Couldn't have asked for anything better - Eftelquot viewpoint, and getting drenched near the blowholes were the highlights of this trip! Salalah is a beautiful place. There are so many attractions to visit in your limited stay that you need an accomplished local guide. We worked out a comprehensive 3-day itinerary with Hamid, including West of Salalah, that had a mix of nature, trails, beaches, culture and food. The first thing you will notice about Hamid is his cheerful smile...the next thing you will realize immediately is that language and culture is not a barrier when interacting with Hamid. Our 5 year old formed an instant friendship with Hamid too! Hamid is extremely accommodating and absolutely fun to hang out with. We had great conversation and chit chat.... so much that the time spent in the car was as much fun as the time spent at the destination spots. Hamid gave us useful pointers prior to a destination, this way we were able to prepare ourselves and enjoy the destination as per our liking and preferences when we actually got there. Thanks to Hamid, we left Salalah with good memories, and a promise to return!
