• Libearty Bear Sanctuary Zarnesti - This is an exciting adventure for animal enthusiasts who wish to explore the stunning Carpathians and the surrounding Brasov area. Early in the morning, participants will join a licensed driver who will guide them through the wilderness and pristine nature to visit the bear sanctuary. Most of the bears at the sanctuary have been rescued from deplorable and cramped cages where they were kept for “entertainment” as tourist attractions. Many were seized from restaurant terraces, hotels, and villas, while others were held captive near factories, gas stations, or a monastery.
