Touring Europe - More than Chocolate - More Than Just Chocolate – A Fantastic Zurich Experience with Christoph We had an absolutely wonderful tour with Christoph today and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zurich. While the experience centered around visiting some of the city’s boutique chocolatiers, what truly made it special was how much more it offered. Christoph is an exceptional guide — deeply knowledgeable about Zurich’s history, culture, and daily life in Switzerland. He brought the city to life with fascinating stories, local insights, and thoughtful context that made every stop meaningful. He also welcomed every question with enthusiasm, offering detailed and insightful answers that made the experience feel personal and engaging. The chocolate tastings were delightful, of course, but they became part of a much richer experience — one that connected us to the people, traditions, and spirit of Zurich. The two-hour format was just right: well-paced, engaging, and full of variety. We came away not only with a newfound appreciation for Swiss chocolate, but also for the city itself. An outstanding experience all around — thank you, Christoph, for sharing your passion and perspective with us!

Fabulous Chocolate in Zurich - A Memorable Introduction - The Chocolate Tasting and Walking Tour in Zurich with Natalia was delightful. We would never have found these special chocolatiers on our own. She knows them all, and the hot chocolate she treated us too was the Best!! She also knows the history of Zurich's old town and introduced us to the Town Hall. We highly recommend this tour.

Chocolate chocolate chocolate - Our guide James was amazing! He gave us very interesting facts about things we saw in the city. The chocolate tastings were amazing! He took us to many many locations. I highly recommend this tour. I was worried after reading some of the reviews but the tour I had was very good.

Save your money, navigate on your own - I had high expectations for this tour. Sadly, it fell short. For the cost, certainly not worth it. In and out of 7 chocolate shops and a taste from each. The chocolate was excellent but certainly could have done the tour on our own. Our guide was pleasant and shared some interesting information but not enough to justify the cost. This is the first Viator that we have done that left us feeling disappointed

Disappointed - Not worth the money. A simple google search and you can find the chocolate shops on your own. Guide was ok. Truly regret the amount spent. I wish there were more reviews. Might have chosen a different experience.

Disappointing - While our tour guide seemed affable, our tour with him did not match the description of the tour online. After an hour of walking and stopping in several chocolate shops, we did not get one tasting. We kept asking about the chocolate tastings and he kept offering coffee. The chocolate in Switzerland is amazing, but we had to experience that on our own. A very disappointing tour.

Price-performance ratio not correct - The guide tried very hard. However, the very expensive tour did not meet our expectations of a chocolate hunting tour, as important stops in the center of Zurich were left out (1842, Honold, Bachmann with chocolate waterfall). The guide showed no initiative to suggest special chocolate tastings or to give exclusive tips. All in all, a nice walk, but in terms of value for money, a complete miss of the point.
