- Vaduz - In Vaduz, the capital of the tiny Principality of Liechtenstein you will have more time at leisure. A visit to the Post Office is recommended; the famous stamps from this tiny state are coveted worldwide by philatelists and amateur stamp lovers alike.
- Heididorf - After a drive through the Rhine Valley we finally arrive at Maienfeld, the setting for the Heidi stories. In the summer months you visit Heidi’s village. A pleasant short walk leads to a collection of typical mountain houses, a village shop, and of course lots of little goats. Entry into the authentic Heidi House is optional.
- Zurich - A beautiful trip back to Zurich along the banks of Lake Walen, guarded over majestically by the Churfirsten mountain range brings to a close this most nostalgic of Swiss tours.
- Werdenberg - Please note - in wintertime, you’ll visit the quaint Swiss village of Werdenberg instead of Heidi’s village.
- Ricken Pass - Then after crossing the Ricken Pass with its panoramic views of the Alps we reach the lovely Toggenburg region whose pretty hill and valley scenery is perfect chocolate box material!

Liechtenstein and beyond! - Flexible tour and very friendly and informative! Karsten gave us several options and we were very happy with getting right to Liechtenstein with a short photo stop by a beautiful lake! We even stopped at Heidiland which wasn’t open but we got to see it and take some pics. I love Switzerland and was so happy to be able to see Liechtenstein this trip as well. Definitely worth the money and 7 1/2 hour day!

Heidiland - Raymond was a great tour guide and very informative. It is a great venue to see the countryside of Switzerland and visit Liechtenstein and other interesting areas.

Great day tour from Zürich! - Our driver Mark and our tour guide Raymond were excellent hosts! Mark was an expert driver hitting all the beautiful sights along the way. Raymond was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. My husband and I loved all the stops along the way! If you want to get out of Zürich for the day I highly recommend this tour.

A great trip with stunning scenery - The guide was interesting & informative albeit a little repetitive!
At one of the stops there was a good climb to the castle - some of the group expressed concern about the number of steps so it would be good to know in advance & be able to make the decision as to whether or not to climb to the top or remain in the town.
If you take your passport (not required) you are able to get it stamped in Lichtenstein.
We did spend a good amount of time on the coach but the views were spectacular & the coach comfortable although no charging points for phones.
Heidiland was closed so if you’re keen to visit then it would be best to check it is open before you book

See the other Switzerland - This is a fantastic way to view much of rural Switzerland and Liechtenstein. A pleasant, relaxing, and non demanding way to start a visit.

Great way to enjoy Switzerland in the wet weather - Wet and cold today, but managed to enjoy beautiful scenery and snow while we visited Rapperswil and Vaduz. Overall was a worthwhile trip for us!

Liechtenstein was a gem - The guide Raymond was great and so was the bus driver. The stops we made provided plenty of time on our own and plenty of time to eat and/or shop. Loved the trip to Liechtenstein, which was at the end of the day. We were there in mid-December so we wrapped up around sunset, which was beautiful. We got our passport stamped there too (cost $3 CHF). The stop in Heidiland was a tourist trap. Seeing the house of a fictional character was not our idea of fun. However, it was nice to be able to stretch our legs and there was beautiful scenery so it wasn’t all bad. The stop in Rapperswil was quaint. That’s where we grabbed a lunch at the beginning of the trip. All in all we are glad we did the trip.

Great tour but I wish... - Great tour but I wish that I would have been informed about Heidiland being mostly shut down from November onwards. Able to go to the village but not go into the buildings. Should have been told during the booking.
Our tour guide, Walter was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I wonder if he was able to move in beside Roger Federer yet?

Beautiful area, not related to tour name. - It's a little misleading. It's a beautiful area to travel in, but it is just a coach tour with VERY little to do with the book. 8 hour tour with about 2 minutes devoted to the book while driving. It feels like it should be themed if you call it this.
