My group arrived 15 minutes early to check in as advised on the website. There were two other groups to go with us. One group didn’t show up until 15 minutes after our scheduled time and we were told we had to continue to wait for the third group who was supposedly still on there way. Our session was to be at 8:45, at 9:15 we still hadn’t begun. It was my birthday and we had other plans after the escape room so we ended up just leaving. They won’t refund my money and gave me a credit to use some other time. This isn’t what I want, I don’t want to come back.

We were grouped together with 2 additional groups in tiny spaces, started late because of something malfunctioning, there were additional things that didn't work correctly as we went through our experience ... exorbitant fee for poor service.

The Morris code machine wasn't working but no one told us upon entering the room so we wasted several minutes trying to send messages before it flashed on the screen that it was broken. We asked for our time to be awarded back but it wasn't. Then, about 20 minutes into the escape an employee walked in and informed us a key was out that we shouldn't have and locked it away. After our hour was up, our leader told us that they hadn't had time to fix the Morris code machine so they knew it was broken upon us entering. We had even asked how we should communicate with each other room to room and were not told the machine was broken. Neither incident was a huge deal but the two combined along with a $40 a person price tag after taxes and fees...it seems excessive for the experience. For $40 an hour you should provide a phenomenal experience or be willing to make it up the the customer. I am a small business owner and typically refrain from complaints, but for the cost, our experience was truly unsatisfactory. I do not blame the employees working, rather policies that are in place, but perhaps I am wrong and they did not follow policy.

Our room took a while to get going and then one of the locks didn’t work. Last time I was there the same thing happened and they had to come in and help. Frustrating. This time they actually had to cut the lock off
