Very nice afternoon - The guided visit by Pierre was wonderful. He was very kind, polite, friendly and passed us a lot of interesting information. The journey is long (almost 2h departing from Santa Fe/Candelaria). We first went to see the center of the city of Zipaquirá, we drank coffee and ate obleas (at our expense). Then we follow to the Cathedral of Salt, which is a work of art 160 meters below the ground. You will hear the story of the sacred way of Jesus on the way to the cathedral. So, in addition to an architectural/artistic tour is also a religious tour. There are expensive shops and cafes at the end of the journey. To return to the surface you will pick up a train that passes every 20 minutes down there to pick up visitors. The afternoon was very pleasant and very worth knowing Pierre and his stories.

We love - I loved it! Mile (guide) and Carlos (driver) were very kind, patient and did everything to make our tour even the city closed because of a cycling race. We need to walk the highway to the cathedral. But I would again for sure and super recommend the company.

Great tour of the salt lakes - Sergio and Rodolfo were great to have a guide/driver. They were early picking me up, very friendly and knowledgeable about the site we were seeing. Also gave some good advice about other things to see in Colombia. Would recommend.

Long but very enjoyable day - Excellent tour. Sebastian was our guide and he was funny and informative. Andres was our driver for the LONG day and he tirelessly took us around the country while making us feel safe and secure. The first stop at the lagoon explained some of the history of the people who first inhabited the region of the salt mine. After circumnavigating the lagoon, there is a brief stop for food. Trust me, buy some. You'll thank me later. Then we stopped in Zipaquira and we chose to walk around the town instead of stopping for a proper lunch. Afterwards, it was on to the salt cathedral.

Stress free visit. - This was a very nice, stress free way to enjoy visiting the salt cathedral. Our guide was Katy. We were picked up and dropped off from our hotel which was very nice. Our guide gave interesting pieces of history and recommendations of what to do and see once we were there. We even had time to stop for some pictures in the quaint town afterwards.

Trip to Zipaquirá - I think it is a nice tour though I would not say it is wow! The salt cathedral is quite impressive but frankly you can see it in an hour and 30mins. The town was fine but again nothing out of the world. It took quite a while picking up all the people- I wonder if it is easier to gather at a central place. The guide is fine but I would say spoke tad too much but in fairness he was trying to be helpful and energetic.
