Turning a mine into a cathedral? Great idea! - This cathedral is a marvel. I enjoyed the showcase of the many ways different ways salt was handled to create each sculpture. I also was stunned to see how large it was. If you need a translation, the park will provide a device with recordings about each of the stops in the cathedral or you can scan a QR code and use your phone to listen to details. Be sure to bring a pair of earphones if you want to be able to listen to your device without having it disturb others. It can get a bit confusing underground, but be aware that once you move toward the final video room that everything after that is just snacks and souvenir shops. You will have to retrace your steps to get back to the exit /entrance. The tour was wonderful overall Our guide took care to personalize this tour and make it feel special for the three of us. Each of the folks on our tour had a different country of origin and he pointed out things that were relevant to each one of our cultures. His knowledge and experience in connecting the Colombian culture to each one of ours was very impressive. The stops along the way with accompanying stories made history come to life!

Great group tour environment - This tour is a neat way to see the area from Bogota out to Zipaquirá. Interesting history attached to an underground shopping experience. The diver Jesus was patient and safe in a busy area and the guide Sebastian was fun and accommodating. Would recommend doing the tour on a weekday as the weekend traffic was heavy.

An unforgettable experience with Beyond Colombia - This was my second tour with Beyond Colombia and, like the first time, I was completely satisfied. From the booking, everything was flawless: customer service, clear and constant communication, and the ease of online payment made the whole process very convenient. Our driver, Pierre, was punctual, friendly and very professional. During the trip and our visit to Zipaquirá, he also served as a guide, explaining everything patiently and answering each of our questions enthusiastically. At the Cathedral of Salt, our guide Giancarlos offered us a detailed explanation of each station of the viacrucis, making the route something truly enriching. It was very interactive and kept our interest throughout. After the tour, we went to lunch with Mr. Barbecue, where again the service was excellent. The food was fresh, well prepared and very good quality. Our waiter, Junior, was very attentive and wise with his recommendations. I would definitely choose Beyond Colombia again for my next adventures. Thank you for another experience so well organized and memorable!

MUST DO! + great guide - Hiiigggggghly recommend! Everyone said it was a must do and I didn't further investigate, but now I understand. It's truly unique! The tour was very well taken care of by Johan and the driver, with a super friendly guide that knew answers to all our questions and really kept the good spirits going. I felt right at home and cared for.

Wonderful tour! - Wonderful tour, rich in details, very Well organized. From the way from the hotel to the cathedral we were guided by Johann who is a well of knowledge, interacts a lot with the group, in addition to explaining in English and Spanish.

We were only 2 on the... - We were only 2 on the tour so we had a personalized tour. Pierre our driver was very nice and very informative. We were given as much time as we needed at the Cathedral so that is good. I'm very happy overall.

Salt Cathedral and Zipaquirá town - Excellent tour with knowledgable and helpful guide Sebastian. Salt Cathedral is an extraordinary experience and the guided walk round the town was great too. Good lunch as well!!

Nice day trip - Great Tour with Johan, I Highlight him. Je is knowledgeable, well organized. Je introduced the country, culture and the history really well.

Interesting visit with a great guide and group - Sebastian was a great tour guide sharing information along the entire journey and making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. The only thing I would suggest is that the information about the tour is changed to say 'audio guide provided' rather than 'tour guide ' as once at the Salt Cathedral you are left on your own to do the tour.

Company that is NOT serious. - Too bad, I got written off and stood up. Which apparently was a mistake from his published schedule. That's not formal. At least I got my money back, but I did battle a little. I definitely do NOT recommend it.
