- 228 Peace Memorial Park - Located at 3 Ketagalan Boulevard, Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan, the 228 Peace Memorial Park is a historic site and municipal park. It features memorials for the victims of the February 28 Incident of 1947, including the central 228 Memorial Monument and the Taipei 228 Memorial Museum, which is situated in a former radio station used during Japanese and Kuomintang rule. The National Taiwan Museum is at the park’s north entrance. The park also includes a bandshell and exercise areas.
- Presidential Office Building - Initially constructed as the Office of the Governor-General of Taiwan during the Japanese colonial era, the Presidential Office Building is one of Taiwan’s most iconic structures. It was damaged by Allied forces during World War II and was later restored to serve as the office of the Governor-General of Taiwan province and military affairs office. After the Chinese Civil War, it became the Presidential Office Building for the Kuomintang leadership in Taipei.

Originally designed as the first government-operated public market, it is now preserved as a municipal heritage site. The building has an octagonal entrance and a cross-shaped floor plan for merchants to display their goods. Today, it has evolved into a space for the creative and art industries, including an outdoor Market for Artists and Designers in the North Square.
