• Shaolin Temple (Monastero Shaolin) - Guests will be collected from their Zhengzhou hotel or accommodation at 8:00 am and transported to Shaolin Temple, which is approximately a 1.5-hour drive. Relax and enjoy the scenic views along the journey.

Upon arrival at Shaolin Temple, the driver will guide guests on where to purchase tickets and where he will be waiting. Guests will then have the opportunity to explore Shaolin Temple independently. After completing the tour, guests will be driven back to their hotel in Zhengzhou city.

Shaolin Temple is renowned as the birthplace of Chinese Zen Buddhism and Shaolin Martial Arts. The entire complex can be divided into three main attractions within the compound.

Area One–The Kung Fu Performance

Upon entering the complex, visitors will find the Kung Fu performance hall. Arriving early in the morning offers the chance to see students of all ages practicing outside. The Kung Fu performance is spectacular and should not be missed.

• Pagoda Forest of Shaolin Temple - Area Two–Shaolin Temple

Established in 495 A.D., Shaolin Temple was added to UNESCO’s World Cultural & Natural Heritage List in 2010. It is the origin of Chinese Zen Buddhism and Shaolin Martial Arts, including the Shaolin Cudgel.

Area Three–The Pagoda Forest

The Pagoda Forest is a half-kilometer walk through a wooded path. It is a collection of tomb pagodas for distinguished monks and abbots of the temple. There are over 240 tomb pagodas of various sizes from the Tang, Song, Jin, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties (618-1911), making it the largest pagoda forest in China.

Please note that this is a private transfer from Zhengzhou Hotel to Shaolin Temple. Meals, entrance tickets, or tour guides are not included. Guests may have a Chinese-speaking driver, but they are well-informed about the pick-up and drop-off locations. Guests can use their phone to call a translator if needed during the ride.
