A Journey Through Time: Beijing and Xi’an

As I embarked on the 7-Day China Tour, I was filled with anticipation. My journey began in Beijing, a city that seamlessly blends the ancient with the modern. The Temple of Heaven was my first stop, where I witnessed locals practicing Tai Chi in the early morning light. The serenity of the place was palpable, and I couldn’t resist joining in, feeling a deep connection to the cultural heritage that my Japanese mother often spoke of.

Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City were next, each a testament to China’s rich history. The Former French Concession and Xintiandi provided a glimpse into Shanghai’s cosmopolitan lifestyle, with their chic cafes and vibrant nightlife.
