Zhangjiajie National Forest Park - This is the top attraction of Zhangjiajie, recognized as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. It features a stunning landscape of over 3,000 sandstone pillars of various shapes and sizes, often described as an “Enlarged Bonsai, Miniature Fairland.”

BaiLong Elevator - The world’s tallest outdoor elevator (326m), which takes visitors to the mountain top in just 1 minute and 28 seconds.

Yuanjiajie - The main inspiration for the movie Avatar, Yuanjiajie is home to hundreds of “Floating Avatar Mountains,” including the famous “Hallelujah Mountain.” The scenery here is otherworldly, making it one of the most renowned areas in the park. The pillars in this area are larger than those in other parts of the park.

Tianzi Mountain - Named after a local hero who led a rebellion against the government army during the Ming Dynasty 500 years ago, Tianzi Mountain offers a blend of historical stories and legends. The mountain top provides a breathtaking view of the sandstone peak forest, known for its sharp and slender formations. It is one of the highlights of the Zhangjiajie Scenic Area.

Golden Whip Brook - Considered one of the most beautiful streams in China, Golden Whip Stream is 6 km long with a well-paved walkway at the bottom of the valley. It takes about 2 hours to walk from one end to the other. Here, you can see the base of the Avatar Mountains, offering a different perspective from the top. The walkway is flanked by numerous sandstone peaks and a lovely stream, each with its own local legends and stories. If you’re lucky, you might even spot wild monkeys, adding to the natural charm.

Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park - As the highest peak in Zhangjiajie, Tianmen Mountain is known as the “New Legend of Zhangjiajie.” Visitors can walk on thrilling cliff paths and glass walkways, offering panoramic views of the city and countryside.
